Are these heat resistant? I’d like to use them in close proximity with studio lights

Hello, These are made from pvc plastic. While they are suitable for light-duty solar projects and for use as solar fire starters, we do not recommend placing them in close proximity to a hot studio light.

Will stacking the lenses intensify the magnification? Especially with solar projects.

Hello, For reading purposes, the answer is no. I just did a test and for solar projects, you can't lay them directly on top of each other, but if you have them spaced about 6 inches apart, the magnification is greatly increased (possibly doubled) but the image is very blurry. So I would say the answer for solar is also no. I think you would probably want a clearly focused transmission of light on the object, but I'm not sure since clarity is not as important as it is with reading.
