high quality product. Very comfortable.Over the years, I have purchased this specific pant at least 4 times.

The pants seem fine in terms of look and appear to be durable, though we didn't get a chance to actually use them. They are cut way smaller than I expected. My 11 year old son has some under armor baseball pants that are XL and they are slightly big on him. He is 5'1, ~125lbs. With these Mizuno pants we tried, Large, XL and XXL and all three were too small for him. In general for clothes he wears an XL size and sometimes just an L, be it shirts/pants. So I would just consider going bigger than you might think on sizes.

Nice pants. These are the elastic bottom pants. My baseball son loves to show his socks like baseball players have historically worn them. He does not like the to-the-shoe-length pants that are in style now. I didn't know the elastic bottoms were what I was getting with this order, all I see is "ankle length" maybe that's what that means? But he is very happy with them. If he had not been, I could have slid the elastic out probably, but they would have been too short for him. Just want you to know what you're getting! The quality is great though.Update 6/2015- my son plays almost year round baseball between tournaments and practices between Spring and Fall. And he is a stealer/runner/slider- slides and dives everywhere. The knees finally gave out- just the top layer halfway through Spring Season, so made it 1.5 full seasons. If the price hadn't quadrupled, I would buy more! I got these 2 pairs for $20 last Summer. They are now $35 a pair. :(

The quality of these pants are great. They have a quilted liner in the seat of the pants for added protection and reinforced knees. He played the whole season without a tear in the knees. The only negative, (the reason for the 4 stars and not 5), is that I sized my son according to their size chart and picked the next size up thinking it might be a little loose on him to be more comfortable. I was surprised to find that these pants fit him snuggly and just to the top of his ankle. Glad I ordered one size up! I would have exchanged them for the next size, but he had a game the next day and couldn't wait.

These pants have built in sliding protection on the backside which is great for corse and hard packed dirt. An extra layer of fabric at the knees also. These are better quality than off the rack pants at the major sports stores. They’re a little more expensive but you’ll see the quality. Very happy with our purchase

This was a good purchase. I only gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they have pilled a little after just 6 weeks of use. But they are thick and good quality otherwise, and my son will have outgrown them by next summer anyway. These are a great choice for stocky/husky boys who need to size up for their waist but can't have the legs go six inches past their cleats :)

These pants are the perfect fit for my 12 year old. He always has trouble finding pants that will fit both is waist and length. Finally a pair that fits both without him swimming in them.

This is the Cadillac of baseball pants for boys. I have two boys and when they were both in Little League, I didn't want to pay the additional cost of Mizunos. Now that I have a 13-year-old and he's committed to baseball I am splurging for these, because the quality and the extra padding is truly the best. I have never seen them as inexpensive as the price Amazon offers, and believe me, I've shopped around. I saved $13 off the sporting good stores price, and at least $5 off of the price at any other website...plus free shipping! I'm not saying much about the pants themselves, but just know that these are top quality and should last through more than a season because of their durability.
