Works as advertised. Attaches quite nicely and sturdily to a 3.5mm jack. Haven't noticed any quality issues at all. Signal quality is unchanged from just plugging directly into a 3.5mm jack!

I have no idea how this product managed to amass good reviews. Aside from looking nice, there are no other redeeming qualities... such as a stereo sound. It only works, sort of, if you lightly/barely place the 1/8” plug inside the adapter. It’s as if the plug just doesn’t fit.Update: You cannot plug this thing into an input which expect a mono signal, or it will understandably sound bad. After using this fir a stereo output for my headphones, it worked flawlessly. I suspect all the bad reviews have some sort of user error associated with it. I recommend this product. Make sure your application is stereo not mono. I.e, some audio interface inputs require mono.

Works with my Sennheiser 6xx headphones into my Yamaha DGX505 keyboard

I paid this much for a sub par product at the local electronics store. These are a good deal, well made, the gold coating is even and seems to wear well (I unplug and rack my headphones after every use so the adapter gets used a lot). Nice tight fit both on the inside 3/8 female and the exterior 1/4 plug, not too tight but no slop or wiggle. The knurled grip is just the right size to assist in making the connection but not so big it gets in the way. Using AKG 271 headphones I can tell the difference in sound quality between these adapters and the bargain basement ones I had before, a good solid connection makes a difference. Overall I am very pleased.

I like this. Package had two adapters. Feels high quality with a good grip for removal. Fits all my standard 3.5mm stereo head jacks to a secure "snap" sounding fit. Got this for a Yamaha electric piano that required a 6.35mm plug to play/listen using headphones.

I saw several questions regarding if this would work with a 4-pole 3.5mm connector and the answer was no. I found out that the answer really is yes, it will work just fine, so long as you don't need to have your mic connected or are using some sort of balanced setup. I have had others that don't have the connector pins in the correct place and you only get mono audio out of them as one channel is actually positioned for the mic. Not this one, it just works as I would expect it to.The build quality seems good. It's nothing fancy, but it is solid and the knurled end is easy to grip for plugging and unplugging of the adapter. It seats firmly in my amp (1/4") and the 3.5mm end firmly accepts the headphone plug.The audio quality is good. There are no pops or cracks when the connector spins around, gets yanked on, etc. The connections are positive and snug, so I would not expect any issues with audio transmission, and there aren't any.I have not used this product for too long, so I can not attest to the resiliency of how these will wear. As far as I can tell, they seem every bit as good as ones I have been using for the past 20-30 years, but somehow manage to not have with me when I need them. These are cheap enough, I just bought several and I will leave them around, so that they are on hand when needed (home, work, backpack, etc.).

I can’t believe an adapter could make that much difference in the sound quality, but this one does, and I’m pleased to have it. It has a color in its name, but it definitely doesn’t color the sound to me.

Utilisé sur une carte son USB externe pour de l'enregistrement Direct To Disk guitare/basse et un peu de mixage.Je me coltinais depuis des années un adaptateur bas de gamme pour brancher mon casque et je m'étais habitué à ses grésillements, au jeu dans la prise, au fait de devoir le bidouiller pour entendre des deux côtés. Je pensais que c'était normal avec un adaptateur et j'étais presque résigné à investir dans un nouveau casque rien que pour avoir directement un jack 6.35.Finalement, rien à voir ici, tenue parfaite des connecteurs, aucun grésillement, même en tournant l'adaptateur (pour tester).Très bonne qualité pour un prix raisonnable (pour un pack de 2).Merci de signaler si mon commentaire vous a été utile !
