A good mic, very sensitive, comfortabe to wear, and easy to store and transport!
For general use, this is a nice microphone, It fits well, without being overly snug (some headworns can be painfully tight!) and the XLR cable is a few feet long, so its easy to route it where I need it. My primary use for this mic is with a transmitter, along with a Bose S1Pro+ speaker. The transmitter connect directly to the to the XLR out, with a solid and secure connection. Sound is excellent, with a balanced frequency response, and no static or other electrical noise. My one issue with the mic is that there is a lot of handling noise. Any movement of the cable while using it produces sound- and although I can reduce it using a noise gate in my effects loop, I’d rather have a slightly quieter mic. Otherwise it works as it should. Its compact and light and can easily fit in my gigbag. Positionng is pretty flexible - from close in for quiet work to a few inches away when I need to belt a song.

Works great!
Time to replace my old headset that I've had for 18yrs...This is the same one, so I know it will last a good long time. Worked great, everyone in my class loved how clear it sounded.

Wow, what a difference
I've only been using it for a couple of weeks and I can say that for the price, they are spectacular. I ordered two and a friend and I were testing them out while we watched a game. On playback the vocals were rich and crisp, the levels were great and you couldn't even hear the hockey game going on six feet away.Knocked one star off for a poor overall design of the product. The mic at the end of the headset works great. Everything else about it could've been designed better. The headset is NOT ADJUSTABLE which is a major inconvenience if you're head is smaller or bigger than the designers supposed heads would be. That's the only glaring flaw with the design. But it's not the only flaw. The mic-arm is adjustable, but not in a very logical way. It doesn't seem like the designers considered that many people would want the mic off to one side of their mouth and designed it instead to maximize the "nasal exhale" sound interference. It's still a phenomenal headset microphone for the price and the audio quality makes up for the ergonomic issues. I would (and will) but another of the same model in the future).

A great product at a very good price
I have been using this microphone for about a month with my voice recognition software (Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional). I've been very pleased with the performance – it's comfortable to wear and accurately recognizes my speech (it's paired with an Andrea USB soundcard). I previously used a Sennheiser mike, and I like the Audio-Technica better. In my experience, the accuracy of the Audio-Technica is every bit as good as the Sennheiser at less than half the cost, and the connection between the Audio-Technica microphone and the Andrea soundcard is not nearly as temperamental (I had real issues with this with my old Sennheiser mike, which had to be plugged into the Andrea USB soundcard "just right" or the connection failed). The only thing I would note was a surprise with this product is the size of the actual microphone – it's larger than I expected, and when the foam ball windscreen is placed over the microphone, it's almost like having a ping-pong ball in front of your mouth. I'm exaggerating (somewhat), but it just took a little getting used to. But I've also concluded that if I'm going to wear a headset microphone at work, I've pretty much given up on worrying about whether I look like I'm working at Command Control. All that matters is that the product works, and works well – and this certainly fits the bill.

Drummer who's tried them all.
As a drummer, I've tried about 4 different headset mics over the last 15 years, and sent them all back after one test because no matter claims, the snare was not being rejected enough and it was hard for sound tech to mix because of this...but NOT this one! This mic rejects the snare enough to make mixing a live band with a drummer who sings, doable.Let me say though, this is not the best sounding mic in the world. There's not many lows, and it's fairly middy. That's okay though because it's backing vocals and a bunch of lows are not necessary for the mission. It's under a hunderd bucks, man, just buy it!

Great sound, comfortable fit, durable
We purchased this headset for my husband, who is a professional percussionist and singer. He plays all over the region where we live and has been developing his singing more in the past few months. He is very happy with this unit - he can hear himself sing in addition to hearing the music created by himself and the bands he plays with, and this headset goes everywhere with him on performance days!

horribly uncomfortable, dictation accuracy terrible
I purchased this product because it is highly rated at several online websites. I bought it specifically to use for medical transcription with Dragon Dictate Medical. I have been using the mic for one month now, hoping that I just needed to learn it's quirks and that it's shortcomings would improve with time and practice. Sadly, that is not the case and now I must try to sell it since the time for return has passed. First, the ear pieces hurt my ears so much that I can only wear them for a few minutes before I have to remove them. Second, despite training Dragon several times for accuracy with this mic, the accuracy is terrible, much worse than the mic I was replacing it with. There are so many errors in the dictation that it is faster to type. I have gone back to my old mic (the Boom) instead. Even though the earpiece is broken and held together with a rubber band, it is very comfortable and the dictation accuracy is excellent. I do NOT recommend this product for use with Dragon dictate, or for people with sensitive ears.
