Juven Therapeutic Nutrition Drink Mix Powder for Wound Healing Support, Includes Collagen Protein, Unflavored, 30 Count

Juven was recommended by the wound care nurse for an injury to my foot. I got the unflavored since the flavored ones have nutrasweet and that gives me migraines. It works as my healing has progressed rather quickly.I do want to address the reviews where people complain of the taste even for the unflavored. I do agree that it is not a pleasant flavor, but followed the advice of stirring it into yogurt. For me it worked the best plus it adds more protein which helps with wound care. Initially I ate Juven mixed yogurt while eating other food to mask the flavor, but after a while I got used to it and just had it with yogurt by itself.I do think that the benefits you get from healing your wound far outweigh the flavor complaints. Highly recommend.

This absolutely works. Don't worry about the folk complaining about the taste; you're taking it to heal a wound, not have a cocktail. Also, you need to eat and ramp up your protein intake. I mix the Juven in 3 ounces of water, pour in an Ensure Max (30 grams of protein), stir again and guzzle it. I do this with breakfast and dinner and saw a difference quickly. On June 25th, you could look through the top of my foot and see through the bottom. After 5 weeks of using Juven, my wound was completely healed.

I can not recommend this product more highly. I've been involving and helping someone with a pressure wound (bedsore). The treatment had been going poorly until we were recommended to try Juven. Once we started on a disciplined regiment of two times a day the wound started to improve to a point the doctor and the nurses were shocked at the improvement. After many expensive prescription medications and months on a WOUND VAC the sore continued getting worse. Once we started Juvine the doctor removed the VAC and skin is repairing rapidly and remarkably.For us the unflavored has worked the best, but the flavored is fine.

Juven definitely works. I even went to the Wound Center at Mount Vernon Hospital and they told all of their patients to buy it, they even had coupons in the lobby!!. The only thing I would say is DO NOT I repeat, SO NOT bUy the unflavored.!!! There is nothing you could put in or mix the unflavored with that will make it taste good. It is awful, so buy a flavored one, PLEASE

Mix the unflavored version of Juven with any heated broth and drink (my favorite is beef broth). It tastes fine.I had 3 major surgeries (including open heart ) within a year and have healed completely. I agree it’s expensive, but wound care needs as much attention as possible. I trust wound care to #1 God, #2 my doctor & #3 Juven. The hospital nutritionist will give it to you for free daily if you ask your doctor to prescribe it.
