This is a beautiful product but I ordered it because it said 1Litre, 8 cups on the product title, but received the small size which may allow for one cup only. I hope the seller corrects the details asap

No doubts the brand is a leading French press maker, good quality with a reasonable price, but this time it's the seller issue, not the item itself,... after waiting for about 10 days to be delivered coz it's international shipment, I received the item out of the box, just in a carboard box and no labels, plus it's scratched at the handle and the cover!! All the credit goes to the awesome Amazon customer service who offered a full refund right away!!

This is my first French Press ever and I like it very much. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I have been trying to make coffee-flavored ice cream lately and trying to brew it with just a filter and a cup—and it hasn't been that successful. Enter, this French Press. — A "CUP" OF COFFEE — I bought the 12 oz white version. Now, coffee is measured by the cup, which isn't a normal cup. "One coffee cup" is equal to 4 fl oz (because that's a normal serving size for coffee). That's 1/3 of a soda can; it's not a lot. So when you buy a coffee maker that says "3-cups", it's not three actual cups, but 12 fluid ounces. Depending on your coffee habits, this can be enough for one person, or for two people. — HOW TO USE — This is very tiny coffee maker that's slightly larger than a soda can. It comes with very easy instructions on how to use it: 1) Take off the lid and strainer 2) Put 1 tbsp of coarse coffee grind per "cup" desired (3 tbsp would be the total this could hold) 3) Pour 4 fl oz of boiling water for each tbsp of coffee grind you put in (stir it around with a plastic stirrer, using metal could break the glass) 4) Put strainer and lid back on (don't push it down yet) 5) Let it brew for 5-10 minutes depending on how rich you want the flavor (I also like to stir it every five minutes) 6) Slowly push the top ball down until the strainer hits the bottom 7) Pour your coffee, enjoy — TIPS — You don't want to pour water all the way to the top because you need room for the strainer and lid. It takes a while to figure out the right amount. Only use coarse coffee grinds or larger, or it could clog up the strainer. Clean up is relatively easy with just a rinse after each use. — SUMMARY — This Bodum French Press is simple to use and looks very stylish in your kitchen. I can now add freshly brewed coffee to my coffee ice cream mixture! Get a size appropriate to how much coffee you drink. Recommended.

I purchased this to replace one that cost more than twice as much. The other one was ceramic but I could not pour from it without coffee running down the front of the press onto my counter top. No such problem here. Also, on the old one, when you lowered the press too far, it forced dregs up past the filter and into the coffee. I still get some with the Bodum but perhaps 10% or less than before. Even though this says 3 cups, you should be aware that is slightly less than 1 mug. French press manufacturers must measure coffee in teacups for little girls. For me that is a good thing. I don't mind brewing my second mug because it is always fresh and hot. I tried a french press years ago and did not like it. I like strong coffee and they didn't seem capable. I finally switched from coarse ground coffee to a fine grind and added lots more grounds. That is probably why I still get some dregs in my cup. I am very happy with my purchase and would gladly buy it again if something happened to this one.

I use this product everyday and it is amazing. The stainless steel filter makes it easy to clean and the plunger is easy to push. The glass walls are thin so there is little risk of the glass breaking when you pour hot water into it. Overall 5/5 for daily use. P.S. Always use a coarse ground coffee with your french press!

I’ve loved this little French press! It’s easy to use and wash, not difficult to assemble, and has been very durable. I’ve been using it for months and it makes delicious easy coffee. I love the small and sleek design—it’s very easy to store. Highly recommend!
