Excellent. I wish I had know this old style hitch from years ago is being made again. These hitches are a must for wood splitters. There is nothing for the wood to catch on as it passes over the hitch. This hitch will also work beautifully on ag equipment as it is simple and gives a range of motion. What a great product.

Bought this unit for my welding trailer, to replace when the previous owner cobbled to the front of it for a hitch. Probably what he had laying around. Anyway, this hitch works perfectly on the trailer. I did not bolt or weld it on though. I used stainless pins that I made to hold it on. This allows me to quickly remove or install it as necessary. I did this to make the trailer much harder to steal. I like the fact that the main pin and hair pin are tethered to the hitch so you can't loose them. It's super simple and gets the jobs done with no frills. Would buy again.

It’s a good design much simpler than the traditional locking mechanism. I use these on my wood chipper stump grinder.

This coupler works as well as advertised. you know the regular push down lever type on most small trailers, they work fairly well on flat ground, but as soon the trailer is on a slant, example driveway, small hill, and you usually have to push the trailer back to get the lever to go down. NOT with this coupler, just drop it on ball and slide the pin in, install the safety clip and ROLL. so much easier and more secure, you are not relying on the heavy gauge sheet metal latch. you have you have heavy gauge steel hitch and 5/8 ths solid steel pin securing your trailer. this is EASIER AND SAFER.

I have a wood chipper, a small trailer and a wood splitter. And I have to swap and move these machines multiple times a day when we are busy in the woods. These couplers makes the job so much easier. Plop it on the hitch and slide and secure the pin. So much easier than those traditional couplers that always seem to fight you, especially in the cold.

Hitch came as expected. I used it for a small garden trailer and very happy with it. Not sure I'd use it for a heavy application.
