Best Dog Sunscreen on Amazon
Love this product. The aerosol canister allows quick application at all angles (ie armpits, groin). Aerosol also goes on light and even, quickly drying. Is the largest bottle of sunscreen avail so need to order (read:pay for shipping) less. Top has locking lid to keep little kids out. When it says "meets the FDA guidelines" it means for ingredient stability and safety. Proven to stay good for a year with normal storage. Waterproof and "lick-safe" once dry - drys almost instantly. It isn't greasy, though you will notice a slight difference in coat texture - kind of feels like a very fine dusting of talc powder - but hands come away clean. Smells nice (vanilla). Blocks both UVA and UVB rays - contains 5 different sunscreen ingredients (as found in human sunscreens), in addition to skin conditioners. Rates equivalent to 30-40 SPF (you only get to say "equivalent" because the SPF scale was developed using human skin). Brand respected and carried by veterinary dermatologists.Introduce the new sound and smell of this product with treats and praise and your dog will love it as much as mine does!

Grasoso

Life saver
We have a dalmatian mix and her nose and belly burn if she gets a few hours of direct sunlight. We live on the gulf coast and go to the beach regularly with her and play outside so after watching her nose completely scab over after 1 day at the beach we needed something. We use this in combination with a putty on her nose, and then spray this on her head, ears, underarms and belly. Basically anywhere that is really pink. A typical day for her is applying the putty and spray first thing in the morning, reapplying both at lunch and then following up with a doggy neosporin at night. She goes to doggy daycare and the first time we brought them her sunscreen to apply at lunch they thought we were crazy, but fast forward a couple of years and she got a horrible burn (not from daycare) that took 4 months to heal and they were the ones freaking out about applying her sunscreen 2-3 times a day while at daycare. Its pricey, but I like knowing its FDA approved, and it has a vanilla scent when sprayed which helps when you have to fight to spray it on them.

Protect your pups!
UPDATE: My dog's white fur turns green when swimming with this sunscreen on. No big deal to us, but some folks might not want a green dog. This sunscreen seems to work pretty well to protect my pup's face and ears. It is a little difficult to apply because I have to spray it on my hands to then wipe it all over her face and ears. It has a really nice smell, but makes her sneeze every time I put it on her. She is constantly in the pool, so I have to reapply often, which means I will be buying more soon.

canine sunscreen
adopted a senior dog who had lost all of his hair on his back due to allergies and neglect. After some love and attention he began to want to fo outside and enjoy natureThis Sunscreen kept him from getting painful sunburn and allowed him to saty outside for longer amounts of time on sunny daysa great start to a new lifeA year later when my 11 yr old German Shepherd began loosing pigment on her nose from an auto immune problem, this helped keep her safe from sunburn as well
