Super dark loved these

I have trigeminal neuralgia and light causes great facial pain. I have been searching for a quality pair of black out glasses. The arms have a durable hyperextending arms so the fit comfortably on your head and slide on and off. They have a bit of UV protection and they’re light weight! I bought a pair from the gas station a while back, but they don’t even compare to these AND these were cheaper for higher quality! If you need sunglasses for sensitive eyes, look no further, these are awesome! I’m more than pleased with the gamble I took as I wasn’t sure about ordering sunglasses online w/o trying them on. Now I have a small head, but the arms hyperextend a bit, so I imagine they would comfortably fit a larger head too.

Upon first inspection, they look great! I love the matte finish on the frame, which also hyper extend. Build quality seems really good. They come with a basic microfiber bag which helps protect them when not using. The first time I put them on it was like someone literally turned off the lights ... the room went BLACK. Completely unusable indoors; even outdoors on a cloudy day or at dusk/dawn. These are only usable on a very sunny day. I feel like I could look directly into the sun wearing these bad boys (but don't). These would be great for after you get your eyes dilated. Realistically, they're probably too dark for driving – not safe. I think the only time I can wear them is at the beach or something. Due to the style and shape (which I love), I find light leaks in from the sides and is very distracting/annoying. And the lenses are so dark they are almost like mirrors ... sometimes I can see my eyeballs and cheeks reflecting off the lenses (a strange feeling). Overall, they're what I was looking for, probably a little TOO dark. But still giving them 5 stars because that's what I searched for ... "dark black sunglasses".

I'm admittedly very hard on sunglasses - my Amazon purchase history shows over 10 purchases in the past 10 years (and a couple were 3-packs). Still, I'm far more likely to lose them or break them though obvious abuse (sitting on them, etc) than through normal use. These ShadyVEU sunglasses are by far my favorite for extremely bright days, especially when it's snowy, but the frames are noticeably more brittle than other inexpensive sunglasses. The first pair I had broke after less than a year of normal use. I replaced them with a new pair and was very careful about keeping them in a case, and they still broke from a normal drop that my other inexpensive sunglasses are constantly surviving. I may upgrade to the polarized Noctix model with TR90 frames, rather than buy a third pair of these.

These glasses are insanely dark and it's amazing. My boyfriend has a condition where his pupils make up 90% of his eye, so being out in the sun is super painful. We live in Florida, so you can imagine how that works. These make it almost impossible to see anything inside for a normal person like me, but my boyfriend is now able to exist outside with these and not get an instant headache.

Owned these for about 2 weeks until both sides of the lens frame broke while riding my bike (stored in hard case when not in use). The lens are dark like limo tint(you cant see indoors without light), and cast a weird vignette like reflection on very sunny days that actually caused more eye strain. As for driving i would not recommend these at all.

I've owned about 5 pairs of these since 2019. The only time they've broken is if I've accidentally stepped on them. High quality, great value for money, and blocks out more sun than any other sunglasses I've used. I bought these for after LASIK surgery, and have been using them ever since. One thing to keep in mind that isn't a concern for me specifically is if you're wearing them while you're driving, you may have trouble seeing your dashboard because of how dark they are.

اشتريت نظارة ShadyVEU لأنني كنت أبحث عن نظارة بعدسات سوداء داكنة فعلاً، وليست من النوع الذي يبدو داكناً في الصور ثم يسمح بمرور كمية كبيرة من الضوء عند الاستخدام. أحتاجها غالباً للمشي في الظهر، والجلوس في الأماكن الخارجية، وأحياناً عندما أكون حساساً للضوء وأرغب في إخفاء عيني بشكل أفضل. أول شيء لاحظته أن العدسات داكنة بدرجة واضحة، وهذا كان أهم توقع عندي من المنتج. في الشمس القوية تخفف الإزعاج والوهج بشكل جيد، كما يصعب على الآخرين رؤية العينين من خلفها. لذلك أرى أنها مناسبة للرحلات، والمشي، والفعاليات الخارجية، أو لمن يفضل النظارات شديدة السواد. الإطار الأسود المطفي شكله بسيط وله طابع قديم قريب من موضة الثمانينيات. النظارة خفيفة ولا تضغط كثيراً على الأنف، والمفصل الزنبركي يجعل الذراعين أكثر مرونة ويعطيان ثباتاً معقولاً من دون شد مزعج على جانبي الرأس. مع ذلك، الخامة بلاستيكية وخفيفة، فلا تعطي إحساس النظارات الفاخرة، ولذلك أتعامل معها بحذر وأحتفظ بها داخل جراب حتى لا تتعرض للخدوش أو الالتواء. **الإيجابيات:** العدسات داكنة جداً مقارنة بكثير من النظارات الاقتصادية، والوزن خفيف، والمفصل الزنبركي مريح، والتصميم الأسود المطفي يناسب ملابس كثيرة. كما أن سعرها معقول لمن يريد نظارة عملية للاستخدام اليومي من دون دفع مبلغ كبير. **السلبيات:** العتامة القوية قد تصبح مزعجة في الظل أو قبل الغروب، ولا أنصح باستخدامها في الأماكن الداخلية أو أثناء القيادة ليلاً. المقاس المتوسط قد لا يناسب الوجوه الصغيرة جداً، والإطار لا يبدو بمستوى النظارات مرتفعة السعر. كذلك لم أشترها على أساس أنها نظارة مستقطبة، لذلك لا أتوقع منها إزالة انعكاسات الماء أو الزجاج مثل العدسات المستقطبة المتخصصة. بشكل عام، هل لبّت توقعاتي؟ نعم، لأن أهم شيء بالنسبة لي كان الحصول على عدسات سوداء شديدة العتامة مع إطار خفيف ومريح. من ناحية القيمة مقابل المال، أراها جيدة بشرط أن يكون هدفك الأساسي تقليل الضوء القوي، لا الحصول على خامات فاخرة أو عدسات احترافية.
