Toyota Oil Filter Cap - 15620-31060

Great piece of Toyota engineering. Bought it to replace the plastic housing on my 5th gen 4Runner (did the stand pipe 'guts' swap). Fit perfect, actually went together nicer than the factory OEM plastic filter housing that came with the vehicle. When you tighten both the filter housing drain plug, & the filter housing itself (paired with Toyota OEM filter/o-ring kit) they both bottom out before the torque spec is reached. No leaks from either threaded union after a fresh oil change. Be sure to lube your o-rings! Should last even longer than the plastic counterpart - which should've been forever with proper care. P.S. you have to get the drain plug separately (or reuse your old 1 if you're swapping filter housings like I did).

Fits my 5th gen 4Runner. Can't comment on its long term durability yet, as I just installed it, but so far the tolerances are tight and is well made.

日本語レビューが無いので初投稿。 外国の方のレビューしかなく、日本語訳した所『5.7リッターV8エンジンノタンドラニアウヨ！』との事だったのですが、適合するかどうかいまいち不安なまま勇気を出して買ってみました。 結果的にピッタリでした。 フィルターを差し込む筒的な奴がタンドラ用のフィルターにはサイズが足りてないので、その筒的な奴を元々使ってた物と交換しなければなりませんが、それも爪二本マイナスドライバーでクイッとやればすぐに交換できます。言葉では説明しづらいけど実際にやるとシンプルです。 元々付いてたハウジングが樹脂で出来てるため、ネジ山がナメっててトルクがかからなかったので、オイル漏れを起こすのではないかと冷や冷やしながら乗っていましたが、解決しました。 最初から樹脂なんかで作るなよ世界のTOYOTAさん、、、、、ただでさえ昔の使い捨てオイルエレメントのが楽だってのに、、、、、

Perfect upgrade for my 2015 Toyota RAV4 LE. Began doing my own oil changes after a bad experience at the Toyota dealership. My plastic housing was definitely torqued more than 35 ft/lbs as it took a 16 inch beaker bar and cheater bar just to break lose the plastic oil housing. Luckily nothing was damaged. Decided to upgrade the plastic housing to an OEM metal housing. This part was a perfect fit! The internal filter tube was the correct height when comparing to my original housing. No need to transfer the internal tube. Torqued it to spec (18 Ft/lb) and now I have the clear conscious everything was done correctly. One thing to note this does not come with the drain cap but I was able to transfer my OEM original drain housing cap to this metal housing. Just be sure to replace the o-rings and oil them up! Great upgrade!
