Does this require drivers? i have it plugged in but it is not visible in the usb device tree on either a 2011 imac or 2019 mbp...

I'm using a 2019 Macbook Air with Mojave to transfer the contents of a 2011 Macbook Air SSD and did not have to use a driver. It was immediately recognized by the new Macbook Air.

I've a ssd for macbook pro 13 early 2015 and need an enclosure to use it as an external hard drive. Does this model work for my apple ssd?

Easy transfer from 2011 MBA to 2019 MBA

It did what I needed it to do. It was a little difficult to get the old SSD into the board, but with some pressure, I got it in. After that, it was simply plug and play.

Lifesaver to recover files from 2012 11" macbook air

Motherboard died on our trusty 2012 11" MBA. Motherboard fried. Extracted the ssd and this enclosure allowed recovery of all files. Recommended!!!
