how many file's do you get?

A dozen wasn't the best deal I found it cheaper to buy them at a saw shop files were ok tho

How long does a file last?

I'd say a new 3/16 file would sharpen a 18" chain 6 times and a 36" chain 3 times. Some people say it should last longer but they are cheap enough. Why bother with dull files?

Is this file for a .325 pitch chain. i did not see any mention of the file pitch. i know it is 3/16 ths inch. thanks! i have a husk 350 with 18” bar.

I use this file on my .325" pitch Stihl chains. It is technically true that pitch is independent of file size, but in practice, this is what Stihl recommends for their .325" pitch chain.

I have been hand filing my chains saw chains for years now. Oregon is my go to for round filing. Good bite and they last as long as anything I have used. Some filing advice. Buy a good product but know when it is done and grace a new one. Should take less than 20 minutes to file and 18” bar.
