Honestly, I think I'm in a state of shock over this product. It only came early today but I thought I'd better start testing it for a few days so as not take too long to put in a review. In my other reviews ( some of which are for Institut Esthederm eye products as well as other brands) I have stated how nothing has made a difference. Well, right now you could knock me over with a feather! Since I always test just one side of my face to help me make more accurate assessment of whether or not a product works, that's what I did today. At first I thought that it was just imagination brought on from wishful thinking. Could there actually be a slight improvement after just 1 use? Determined to not make a false claim, I broke my rule and used the Active Repair Eye Contour cream on the other side of my face. I walked away from the mirror thinking that if nothing else the cream felt really good on my skin. 10 mins late I went back to the mirror. Holy snappers!!! The difference was more than just noticeable. The ugly lines that went up into the contour, straight towards my eye, had all but disappeared. The outer edge of the dark circle under neath my eye had faded. ( i guess I didn't put enough on the further inside part of the circle. because there was still some darkness left) My skin definitely looked firmer and seemed lighter in colour. I think it's safe for me to say that the skin looked younger/ healthier. The current priceof $59.00 for what seems like a small tube might be considered expensive but for the difference in how I look, I'll be buying this one.
