Q: Where is this mug manufactured? Does it have a stamp on the bottom?

These mugs are made in China. There is no stamp on the bottom but if you look at the enlarged picture of the mugs you will see that the words Le Creuset are part of the bottom design of the mugs. Yes, I know, made in China is not the best choice, but they really are great mugs. Nice size and good weight. Personally, I love the fade in and out color of them. There are a few more colors available than the ones that Amazon offers. They aren't easy to find, but they are out there. ENJOY

Q: How tall are these mugs?

4" tall. Both of my daughters selected this china for their bridal registry. Both love the china. Sleek & very functional. Sorry I didn't respond more quickly - grandbaby # 6 arrived on Tuesday so we've had a busy and wonderful week. Hope you will shop with Troup's Gifts again!

Q: Does the handle get hot to the touch after heating up water in the microwave?

My handle didn't get hot but, after heating it up so many times it cracked on the inside so I had to toss it out. But, it kept my coffee hotter while I used it. Maybe just try starting with warm water for only like 30 seconds at a time.
