Edge Dish Brush with Integrated Sink Rest, Grey

Perfect for pushing food off the dishes or down the drain, and for light scrubbing. The bristles are spread out and lighter than a packed scrubbing one, so it doesn't collect food (which is just gross). Hanging off the edge of the sink keeps it out of the way as well as draining well. We've had it a year, daily use, and it's as good as new. We do pop it in the dishwasher once a week or so and the plastic handle seems to tolerate the high heat well.

We love this dish brush and it’s the only one I’ll buy anymore. It’s so convenient to hang on the side so we’re no longer search for it. It holds up well and we replace it maybe every 6 months with a regular run through the dishwasher.

I like that the brush is soft and cleans well, but it doesn’t stay hanging from the side of the sink for long; it works better upside down as opposed to the way it should, with the brush inside the sink.

I have had this brush for several years now and just had to buy another finally...because my husband used it to SCRUB cast iron. Until then, this sucker was the best thing ever for stuff kind of stuck on pots and pans, plates, etc. If he didn't hulk it out on the cast iron skillet, it would probably still be going. I hid the new one from him and bought him some chainmail for the cast iron. Anyhow, buy this, it's great.

This dish brush has gotten miles after 3+ years of daily use and yet no deformity to the stiff bristles or opposite scraper end. It's gone through the dishwasher, it's tackled tough stains, it cleans my sink effortlessly, and it lifts off stuck-on food like nobody's business. The handle feels comfortable to use and can reach the tight bottom & top corners of the sink. I clean the sink edges by pulling the faucet hose as far out and directing the water onto the chisel end to rinse off the hard to reach places. Best of all, it hangs off the inside sink and can be moved to different spots. One of my best purchases! I've become a fan of Joseph Joseph products because of this brush.

Most of these reviews seem fake. The brush has potential but it's definitely not 5 stars like everyone wants you to believe. Fortunately, with a minor adjustment, it can be very good. Like some reviewers have pointed out, if the brush or counter is wet (even slightly), it doesn't stick and will just slide into the sink. I rolled a tiny piece of painters tape (to form a "bump") then taped it down where I want to put the brush. This gives it a little ledge to catch. Since this works well, I might put a tiny dap of hot glue on the counter to perform the same purpose and look tidy. Aside from that, the awkward angle of the brush handle takes some getting used to but it's not a big deal. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and price. Just be aware of the issues I mentioned. We love products by Joseph Joseph: consistently innovative, functional and rugged. In this case, the rubber finger that props this on the sink edge is a simple, practical way to keep this tool handy and propped vertically to drain bristles so they don’t stew in bacteria-breeding moisture in a tilt-out sink compartment. While some sink rims may require a longer finger for the brush to stay hooked, this fits our stainless sink just fine. The silicone tip is key to helping it grip. Compared to scrubbers with a built-in soap compartment, I was looking for a slim head that fits down into glassware, and this fit the bill. My one disappointment is these bristles are sparse and soft so scrubbing action is pretty superficial and best suited to glassware and lightly soiled dishes; i.e. not as all-purpose as past scrubbers we’ve had. For pans and baked-on food you’ll need a stiffer bristle or scrub pad. I expect this brush will be less durable and not as long-lasting as our similar OXO brand scrubbers (each of which wore out eventually). But the utility of the grip design adds function at our sink, and the ~$10 price point made it worth the experiment. Any higher than that and I probably would’ve passed on this purchase and continued to use OXO.

It's a nice brush but no different from the other brushes as it won't hang off of the kitchen sink unless I place a tissue underneath the part that is supposed to keep it suspended.

Ne ho una molto simile con cui mi son trovato bene e me ne serviva un'altra. Sono andato alla ricerca nei supermercati, ma quelle che trovavo non mi convincevano. La soluzione alla fine è cercare qui su Amazon e ho trovato questa che mi è sembrata simile all'altra e l'ho comprata. Il manico è completamente in plastica rigida che un pochino flette se si applica molta forza, ma è sostanzialmente robusto. Ha questa protuberanza per poterlo appendere che per metà è in plastica, mentre il pezzo grigio chiaro è in silicone flettente che favorisce il grip quando viene appesa. Anche all'estremita ha una piccola striscia in silicone. Le setole sono in plastica e flettono facilmente quando si sfregano le stoviglie. Io la utilizzo per pulire i piatti più sporchi, le pentole e per togliere le incrostazioni dalle piastre della bistecchiera. Su piatti e pentole si comporta bene, già sulle piastre fatica un po' a togliere le incrostazioni e serve qualche passaggio in più. Qesti sono gli scenari di utilizzo dove si comporta bene, per griglie particolarmente incrostate è meglio acquistare una spazzola con setole più dure o con setole in metallo. Nel complesso è una buona spazzola e per il mio utilizzo va bene.
