Looks like 3 inches to me...I assumed you meant the inside of roll to be placed on the tape dispenser.

What material is the Scotch Heavy Duty tape made out of?

Not sure. It's a clear plastic. Claims to be 20 times stronger than acrylic. Great tape!!

Does this fit in the 1.88 inx800 inch dispenser?

My dispenser core measures 1+11/16" so if these are 3" they would not fit. I had the same question.
