TetherBoost Pro USB-C Core Controller Extension Cable (High-Visibility Orange)

Great piece of kit if you have a non mobile computer in your studio. I like using my monitors on each side of my studio and this allows me nearly full mobility when tethered to the main station. I use airplay for the monitor on the other side of the studio so now no mater where I am I can see what is on screen without having to roll around any laptops! Highly recommend.

Don't ever fall for the tether tools branding and marketing. They are no better than other much cheaper versions. The only reason I've gone through a few dozen of these over the last year was due to not being able to find a competitor for active USB C cables. I've now found others in the market at a third of the price and they work just as well. One major issue with the Tether Tool USB C cable vs their USB A one is the durability. The older USB A cable was much heavier duty and had a thicker outer sheath that helped them last longer with chairs rolling over them and/or stepping on them a lot. The new USB C version has a super thin protective sheath and they get damaged much much easier. I use long usb c cables in a large photo studio with ~20 bays running for tethered shooting and have gone through thousands of cables over the last decade. Even in a professional setting where you are spending someone else's money I would not recommend Tether Tools cables.

Great cable, great feel and flexibility. It is rugged which is how they designed it to work on sets and other locations where traffic is common. A must have!

Cheep construction, thin cable no protection. Unstable connection, can't use anymore. Need to return for refund if possible. Many other more robust options for less money. Go to Micro Center and get one there, this cable is cheep.

The cord did not work out of the package. I needed this for a live stream of a graduation and I was very frustrated when it didn’t work
