QAP Stainless Steel Flat Beater Fits KitchenAid 4.5 5 QT Tilt Head

I previously bought the QAP Stainless Steel spiral hook for my KitchenAid Professional 600 stand mixer (the one that goes up and down with a traditional mixer bowl shape, NOT the tulip-shaped bowl) and loved it. This QAP Stainless Steel Flat Beater fit also fits my KitchenAid perfectly. I think the fit depends on which KitchenAid model you own and which of the QAP beater paddles you select. You need to select the correct one for your specific KitchenAid model (and it's important to distinguish between regular-shaped and tulip-shaped bowl models). In my regular-shaped bowl, this flat beater goes right to the very bottom (not 1" higher than the bottom, as some here report; my guess is they selected the wrong item instead of what was needed for their specific KitchenAid model) and the paddle beater does not scrape the bottom at all. A perfect fit. Same wonderful 18/8 stainless steel. Seems sturdy, thick, and compatible. It looks a tad bit more narrow than the standard aluminum paddle beater that came with the KitchenAid Professional 600, but that's just a slight perception. Won't know until I've actually used it to mix dough; the difference seems only slight and may or may not matter. Assume NOT if I don't come back here and alter my rating.

This QAP Stainless Steel Flat Beater Paddle fits my 30 yr.old KitchenAid mixer perfectly. I ordered the QAP Stainless Steel Dough Hook last summer and both are a perfect fit. These are a nice upgrade to the original attachments that went through the dishwasher which ruined the finish. These attachments are heavy stainless steel and worth the price.

It doesn't fit the Professional 5 Plus. It looks much different than the last one so originally I thought I had to return. But it doesn't hit the bowls edge and it does move the dime. It's an ever so slightly narrower width, which is good because I am replacing one that was coated and flaked off on the wider edges. Per conversation with Kitchen Aid, they do not make a stainless steel steal beater for the KV25G0XCU that I have, only coated.

Love this!! It is very durable, washes beautifully in the dishwasher, fits on my Kitchen Aid Pro 600 perfectly and works than my old, branded beater! Highly recommend.

So happy to get this stainless steel paddle where the plastic coating won't chip off like the one that cam with my mixer. Love it.

This is a well made, stainless steel paddle that fits better than the original attachments that came with my Kitchenaid k5a (it's about50 yrs old). I was hesitant to buy it, but am glad I did. I will look for other products from QAP from now on. I'm totally pleased.

If you have an old one like mine, this probably won't be a perfect fit and there's no adjustment screw unless the housing is removed. A suggestion was to bend the tabs of the bowl down to compensate. Is it heavy? Yes. Seems to be well-made. Shiny. Is it better than having enamel chipping off into the cake? Yeah. Should you try to buy a KA stainless (out of stock if they ever make it again) for 3x the price? Are you kidding me? I'll scrape the bowl a couple extra times and tolerate the minor bumping into the bowl issue.

Works great, better than the original one that came with the mixer as this is stainless and doesn't have the chipping ceramic or aluminum top mount.. so you can put it in the dishwasher. The extra bars inside mix better as well.

Great replacement beater! It fits my KitchenAid perfectly, feels durable, and mixes ingredients very well. I especially like the stainless steel design with no coating to worry about. Easy to clean and works exactly as expected. Highly recommend.

Perfect fit for my stand mixer

Finally a stainless steel mixer attachment! I've been looking for one of these for years. after the white coating started peeling off the factory unit, I had to grind it off with a wire wheel to get it down to bare metal (after eating some coating bits). Highly recommended. Ditch the cheap factory aluminum with coatings.
