Flora and the Peacocks (Flora & Friends)

This is a stunning book with no words. I purchased it for my granddaughter, and I don't think she quite got it the way I did. Perhaps a little too young (4). The pictures and layout were just wonderful and I loved it.I will try to look, at it again with her on next visit. I admit that I explained each picture and it's nuances to her, but you hope they will understand that on their own.

A beautiful book! This story does not contain words, just gorgeous illustrations, allowing readers to imagine the story for themselves. I think picture books are wonderful because it encourages young minds to interpret the story from their own imaginations and a creative mind can change the story with each new read. I love all of the Flora books and so will every other little girl.

Beautifully illustrated with fold down flaps and a great surprise fold out at the end. This story is told without words and my daughter goes to this book since it is easily interpreted by nonreaders. This is not for a child who is rough with toys or books as there are many fold outs that would be easily ripped without supervision.

Great foldout illustrations!

Very colorful book in trilogy from Molly Idle. Again, there are stunning illustrations and beautiful story. This book was the most 'wwwoooow' for our kids. There is one page where is poster like illustration in and our kids just cannot get enough of it!

Once again Molly Idle has created a stunning picture book. Children and adults alike will enjoy the tale of friendship and sharing. Each page comes to life through the illustrations and the reader can create their own line to go with it.

I have a love of paper. Molly Idle books are works of art.

Me gustó Flora & Flamingo, y Flora & the penguin. Pero este tercer libro es bastante mejor. La única pega, es que es un libro delicado que mi hija no puede ver sola (por ahora) porque lo destrozaría. Es ideal "leerlo" con música clásica.
