Can this be cut in half?, I have a single car driveway, buying 2 seems like a waste of money, buying a 3 pack unnecessary, and a single one too short

How do you determine what pitch you need?

Good question.  Mine slips down the street and changes angle when it slips.  Usually once a week I go out and pull them back into place and adjust the angle.  I rotate one end of the ramp until the top of the ramp is level to the top of the driveway.  I go to the other side of the ramp and do the same thing.  The ramp is long and heavy so it is hard to adjust at one end only.  FYI  there are hole in mine.  I suspect you can drive a large nail through the ramp into tarmack.  Concrete would need drilling before nail could be put through the ramp, into the ground.  I live in an HOA housing area so I leave mine loose in case they are found to be inappropriate for our HOA.

Will they float? My street floods during heavy rain and I don't want them to wash away but would rather not anchor them to the city curb.

Yup.  They do.  The day after I placed a pair in the trough  between the pavement and the entrance to my driveway we had an unusually heavy thunderstorm that lasted about half-an-hour.  The next day when I walked up the driveway with a third piece the first two were gone.  My initial reaction was that they had been stolen.  Nope.  They were sitting next to each other about 20 feet down the hill.  Apparently, water that runs in the low area between the pavement and the curb in heavy rain had moved them.  This surprised me because they weigh about 50 pounds each, but a seemingly small amount of water can be very powerful.  They each have four holes that can be used with concrete bolts to anchor them in place.

What about people with hoa? did anyone have the city or the hoa make anyone remove them?

hoa   has  not  said  anyting     and  there is  about   30%  of   the  homes  that  has a   ramp like  this one
