Perfect anchor
This boat anchor is a must-have for any boater! It’s heavy-duty and holds my boat securely in place, even in windy conditions or strong currents. The design makes it easy to deploy and retrieve, and it’s compact enough to store without taking up too much space. The quality is top-notch, and I feel confident that it will last for many seasons. If you’re looking for a reliable, durable anchor, I highly recommend this one—it’s essential for a safe and stable boating experience!

Great anchor
Works like a charm. Our 17 ft Cape horn with T top and cobIA tower in a 15 mph wind it held tight while anchored.

Ordered this anchor. Received a date I would Receive at my door. It never came. Then I got another date I would receive. Never came. Got a date I then could get my money back. Had post office track package it was still at ship out address. Next day it was at my door. I don't know. Made me scratch my head. But I used it to hold my 26 ft. Pontoon not big winds or waves. Good anchor
We bought this anchor for our 20' Pontoon boat, it is well constructed and was also a good price. We hope to use it for many years. would recommend to anyone wanting a medium sized anchor, of good quality.

Poor quality control
I'm sure glad that I had a grinder with emery sanding flap disk. I had to go over the edges of the shank & the flukes to get rid of the extremely rough pieces left on all edges as they would eat your hands alive. This did not look like it was hot dipped galvanized either, more like it was spray coated with Zinc, like you'd get at the hardware store. ( I know as I picked up one of these spray cans to re -coat the surfaces I had to sand down.)I was also surprised that the shank to fluke opening angle was only 23 degrees. Good for sand only???Needless to say, I was totally underwhelmed with this product.

Anchor it
As advertised is a place to start. This is the best there is for sand and mud. Match the boat size to the danforth anchor size chart attach some chane to help keep the arm of the anchor down, line and you’ve done the best you can.

Good quality
Retired to spare duty our 30 year old Danforth S-600, hoping this replacement was of the same quality. Not quite. This one is made in Asia (not China, but I forget where), and the galvanizing is not as thick as the older, U.S. made example. The welds are evenly-laid along the components that make up this anchor, and it's a good purchase. Far better quality than the ones at "West Marine," which has come boating's version of cheap Shady O'Rack stores. Avoid them.
