These predators do the job!
The first shipment had 3/4 ladybugs not alive. I told the seller, who offered a refund or replacement. I chose replacement. When I got the second batch, most of them were alive, only a few didn't make it. I turned them loose on my gardenia, that was overrun with aphids, and they were voracious ladies! No more aphids!

Problems with the Lady Bugs
NaturesGoodGuys I purchased your product and many arrived dead, with the ones left alive I followed your instructions for releasing your lady bugs and also creating their environment suitable for their release, according to my research on the internet of what to feed them, what to provide them for their comfort in order for them to control the white flies that I have in my garden. When I released them, a few hours later they would crawl and turn upside down and die. As you can see I purchased them a second time and the results where the same as the first time. The product did not work at all.

Bad ass ladybugs
They where perfect for white flies infesting my greenhouse, and went to town as soon as I dropped them on the dirt

4 4 Stars – Usually Great, Just One Rough Batch
I’ve ordered from this company multiple times, and overall I’ve had really good experiences. My previous order of 1,500 ladybugs arrived in great condition with only one or two losses, which is to be expected. This most recent order, however, was a bit disappointing as about half arrived dead. I do live in South Texas, but the weather was actually pretty mild that week, so I wasn’t expecting any issues. That said, I’ve started noticing larvae from my previous order showing up in my garden, which is a great sign and definitely a plus! Even with this experience, I still plan to order again because I really like this company and have had good results overall. Sometimes nature (and shipping) can just be unpredictable.

Awesome Live Ladybugs for Your Needs
We do this every year for our K-4 school. Each student gets a couple ladybugs in a Mag. to observe, draw, discuss, and then released. Very worthwhile project and these ladybugs were great. Very few did not waked up. We used over 4 days and you keep them in the fridge in between. As they start to wake up, you fill the cups. Again, very fun and these guys/ladies were perfect. Will buy again.

Not a true lady bug but gets the job done.
These insects will do the job if you need help with pest control but they are not the American Lady Bug (Hippodamia convergens) rather they are the Asian Lady Beetle (Harmonia axyridis). Every one of the bugs I received was orange with a wide variety of dot patterns. I uploaded a picture to AI for confirmation of my suspicions. Below is the result: Based on the close-up image you uploaded, this appears to be an Asian lady beetle (Harmonia axyridis), also known as the multicolored Asian lady beetle or harlequin ladybird. Here’s why: • Color and Spots: The body is orange-red with a few irregular black spots (about 4 visible here, though they can vary from 0 to 19 in this species). • Pronotum Pattern: The key identifier is the pronotum (the shield-like area behind the head), which is mostly white with a distinct black “M” or “W”-shaped marking in the center. This is clearly visible in your photo and is a hallmark of the Asian lady beetle, distinguishing it from native American ladybugs (like Hippodamia convergens), which typically have a black pronotum with white spots or bands instead. • Size and Shape: It’s small (around 5-8 mm), oval, and dome-shaped, matching the Asian species. • Other Details: The head is black with small white markings on the sides. It’s shown crawling on what looks like human skin with fine hairs, which aligns with their behavior—they often invade homes and can land on people, sometimes biting (though mildly) or releasing a yellowish defensive fluid that can stain or smell. These are invasive in North America and beneficial for controlling aphids in gardens, but they can become pests indoors in large numbers during fall/winter.
