Very content with this
This rooftop tent formed an adventure for my two boys and I that I didn’t think I’d get during these weird times. I’m grateful-It fit my Subaru Crosstrek Sport way better than I thought it would.-quick setup (15-20 mins 1st attempt)-ladder felt like it was missing a little something, but is still very sturdy-The type of crossbars DO matter, recommend researching your own vehicle

Fly is hard, closing up is worse
I bought this tent and immediately went on a six week camping trip. The tent is a very nice tent, but I have yet to figure out how to make the fly poles work. I’ve asked several people that have worked in outdoor stores and even own different versions of this tent to help me and they have not been successful. The fly works without the polls, but it’s very annoying not to have them work. The other thing is that zipping the cover on the tent is sheer hell. I never got it to work. Instead, I got the cover on and used kayak straps to be sure it didn’t blow off. That would last about a day and then all the contents of the tent would come spilling out. I got this tent because I could put my kayak on the car next to me and it was the only option that allowed for this. I am regretting buying this tent.

Perfect for a slim set up
Keeping the space down on the rack was the biggest priority. It’s only 100lbs so it doesn’t upset the balance. Easy to open. So much ventilation. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

Not the same as the old tepuis
This is my second rtt. Previously owned an autana 4 which was kinda big on a short bed tacoma but made it work. Honestly it was no more work setting up than this little guy. I like the fabric of this tent but have only used it in dry climate so far. Did pretty well in the cold by myself. However, the cover has only been on and off the thing a couple times and has a small tear already. One of the spring loaded pins lost its cap so had to rig the ladder last outing. Again, second outing and already these issues. I am fairly rough on gear but I don’t try to test durability on purpose when off roading. I think these are better suited for Subaru folks in established campgrounds as I am in a lifted truck and have to climb around quite a bit to setup and takedown. Hopefully this review helps others!

Defective Tent, Thule Support Not Helpful
I ordered this ten and theoretically it's a good tent. But on my first outing I found that the tent ladder was defective. I rigged it to get through the weekend. When I returned I contacted Thule and informed them of the problem. They informed me that the part that I needed would not be available to me for 4 months. For for the next 4 months I'll have to rig this ladder up if I am to use it. I couldn't be more disappointed in Thule. I spent nearly 2k on a tent and their response is that they cant do anything for 4 months. If this wasn't such a large item I would pack it back up and send it back to Thule so they can use it as a giant paper weight. Thule is my first choice and I have been spending the extra money to buy their products for many years. I have now decided to entertain their competitors. They should go pull a part off of another tent before making somebody wait 4 months after they just spend 2k with them. Good luck if your tent has any issues at all, you could bet waiting 4 months like me. So disappointed in the company.

I love this tent!
High quality, super fast set up and tear down and very comfortable to sleep in…says the only guy with a tent on his BMW. Don't get me wrong I wish it was lighter, my car hates having this thing on the roof drives like a VW Bus, but its a awesome tent. Im looking for a pulley system and quick release bolts so I can easily take on and off.

I love this tent.
The media could not be loaded. I love that it doesn’t take up my whole roof.

Tent is awesome but too small for our use.
I am just 5’4” and my wife is smaller but we duck our heads inside when sitting down.
