Just delivered- I love it
Love the longer length. Chose a resin hook because of the smooth work it allows. Lost 2 out of 3 of my G hooks in the last week but here came the pretty red one less than 24 hours after I placed the order. Look at the difference in the length between the old one. Old one kept catching on the yarn. Red one is super smooth allowing for fast stitching.

Not ideal for cotton
I love the way this hook feels in my hand. If it was a polish metal it would work so much nicer for the projects I tend to work on. I use primarily cotton yarn. If I used any other fiber I think this would be a great hook.

It's like a little piece of art, and comfortable too!
If I crocheted, this would be so nice on my arthritis. I have another use. You know those fancy shower drains that are a long bar at the back of the shower? I use this hook to loft the bar so that I can clean the drain basket. I leave this little piece of art on the shower niche. It's quality plastic so it won't get soggy like wood hooks. It's beautiful.

A petty review
I haven't had a hook with this kind of handle before and I find it extremely comfortable to hold. I am more of a knife-holder and I tend to work with my fingers closer to the hook end rather than the handle end but I found myself naturally moving to a pencil-grip which is something that has always felt very wrong to me and I always give up on it immediately.I'm always looking for ways to improve my craft and make things more comfortable so I am looking forward to seeing how this hook treats my hand/wrist.I was surprised at how flexible the hook end is. I read that it was but I wasn't prepared. Hopefully it won't be a problem for me.WITH THAT SAID... I have to be petty. When I saw the bright cheery pink of this hook in the picture it gave me a hit of seratonin so strong I almost cried. And I'm not a crier! Imagine my absolute disappointment when the hook turned out to be a gloomy drab mauve. Ugh. I tried to capture the drabness for everyone's displeasure.So yes, I am going to be petty and dump 2 stars off my rating. This isn't something I would normally do over a hook but I was really depending on that color.I'll update later with further impressions on the hook.
