Has anyone had some strange orange stuff appear on the doormat? Out of nowhere

Hello, is this coir from the mat? The mat is made of natural coir (coconut fibres), which may shed in first few months, and may have some coconut pith visible. This is all normal and natural. Otherwise am unsure, feel free to send pictures if you’d like us to look into this further. Thank you

Could you cut this to make it smaller? Thanks

Yes you can cut this smaller. Would recommend garden scissors if you have any. Thanks.
