It WORKS, and you don't even need a full beard!
This stuff is amazing. Surprisingly, it completely lives up to its claims. A little background. I spent 6 years in the Navy and shaved every day. I have a very sensitive face, so this led to a lot of razor burn and ingrown hairs. I was always excited to grow out some scruff for a few weeks whenever I took leave. And, as anyone who has done that a few times knows, the first few weeks in growing a beard is the absolute, god-awful worst. Now I'm out of the Navy and excited to grow a beard and stop shaving (it's pretty much tradition once someone separates from the military). For the first week, it was terrible. All the damage done to my face from shaving was only made worse once I let my hair grow out for more than a few days. The itch was unbearable, and at times, painful. I told myself to stick it through because once the full beard comes in, it'll be worth it. Knowing I was committed, I decided to purchase this product and it's accompanying shampoo. I decided to use it the very first night I got it. Now keep in mind that I only have about a week's worth of growth at this point (I consider my facial hair growth to be pretty average; I'm not one of those guys who has a 5 o'clock shadow an hour after shaving, but I definitely do by 5 o'clock). The results? Instant relief. Not only did this completely eliminate the itch that came with growing out my beard, but it made it comfortable and soft to rub. Now when I stroke my face, it's a nice, soft texture rather than hard and prickly, and it doesn't irritate it to do so. Now when I get the occasional itch (as anyone does anywhere they have hair), I scratch it and it's gone. There's no lingering itch or pain, and scratching it doesn't make it itch more like it would normally (if you haven't started growing yet and don't know, think of how a mosquito bite only itches worse the more you scratch it). I'm truly amazed at the quality of this product. Even with my incredibly limited growth at this point AND the additional irritation from pre-existing razor burn and ingrown hairs, this product has eliminated the discomfort, made my scruffy face soft and enjoyable, and even my girlfriend agrees that it smells nice. I could not be more satisfied with this product. I don't really know where this falls in terms of price compared to other products, but for how good it works and how long it'll last (since you don't need a lot for each wash and most people don't shampoo/conditioner every day), I'd say it's well worth the $16 I paid. This will easily last me more than a month. I highly recommend this to anyone with a beard, especially those who have suffered as badly as I have in the past with the literally growing pains of achieving a full face of hair.

Cant say enough great things about it.
Great product. Made a world of difference to manage and care for my curly course beard. I prefer the natural look and feel.....this helps me rock it best while keeping it super soft. World of difference between anything else i’ve tried....Love the sandalwood smell too!

I don’t know what a Verbena Lime is, but it smells quite pleasant.
The conditioner has a subtle fresh scent; nothing over-powering, which I appreciate. I had previously been using a beard shampoo that smelled like the flea shampoo we used on my dog when I was a kid. In fairness, I didn’t have any fleas in my beard after using the stuff, but I’m pretty certain I didn’t have any fleas before using it either. I decided to try a new beard shampoo (different brand) and also ordered the Zeus conditioner. I noticed a difference right after the first use. My beard was noticeably softer and better ‘behaved”. And still no fleas, which is always a plus. I’ve been using the conditioner every few days for the past weeks and decided to go ahead and buy the Zeus shampoo too. The other stuff I tried is a bit “smelly”, and the Zeus shampoo has the same subtle/pleasant fragrance as the conditioner, so it makes my beard and my nose happy. I also noted one of the ingredients of the Shampoo and the Conditioner is “Dragon’s Blood Extract”. Now, I don’t know where they found a dragon, nor how they extracted his or her blood… I’m hoping it was voluntary, dragons being in such short supply these days. Maybe, having fallen on hard times with so few princesses to kidnap, so few castles to lay waste to, so little motivation to gather a hoard of today’s riches which would mostly consist of paper currency and stock certificates (neither terribly durable when a dragon sneezes or burps while perched atop a pile of the goods)… perhaps the dragon has been making cash by donating plasma and/or blood, which is then used in these extract. Whatever the method, I do look forward to breathing fire at some point in the future, after several applications of the shampoo and conditioner, of course.
