Great crate at a great price!
I purchased two of these crates for two rescue dogs that we were blessed to adopt. We adopted one dog two months before the other and I purchased this crate after reading all the positive reviews. The crate arrived quickly and was a breeze to put together with very clear instructions. They describe it as portable and I guess you could call it that because it does fold up nicely, but it is heavy! It is very well made, sturdy and has built in clips that make it very easy to put up and take down. My 60 lb German Shepherd/Lab mix has plenty of room to stand as well as lay out flat. The 42" crate is the perfect size for her. I have a hard time imagining a dog figuring out a way to open the door by themselves as one reviewer suggested. The door is secured with a latch at the top and another at the bottom. It feels very secure. Was so happy with the first crate that I purchased another when we adopted another dog two months later. Again the crate arrived quickly and was a breeze to put together. Because this dog needed a covered crate, I also purchased a Precision Pet Indoor/Outdoor Crate Cover. GREAT cover! Fits the crate like a glove and is really good quality. I paid just under $69 for each crate and I've seen them in stores for twice that. Great crate, great price. The only improvement that I could make on this crate is that I wish the door was adjustable so you could change the swing to the other side. Just happens that with the location of both crates in my home, it would be more convenient if the door swung left to right. Not a huge deal, just would be nice. I had no need to install the partition because both my dogs are adults.

Really spacious and strong.👍🏽
This dog crate is great for my dog. It’s really easy to put together and keep clean, which is a huge plus. I feel good knowing my dog is safe and comfortable in it. Definitely a solid choice for pet owners looking for a reliable crate. Just a little tip for your dogs well being: It’s essential to use this crate only when you’re away to ensure your dog gets plenty of playtime and interaction. With its secure build and ample space, it’s a great option for providing a safe and comfortable resting place for your pet during your absence. Just remember to balance crate time with quality playtime outside for your dog’s overall happiness and well-being.

Simple, one and done.
Got a puppy and needed a crate to stop the peeing everywhere thing. I used the divider while he was a tiny thing, put his bed in and BOOM- he understood the assignment. As he got bigger, I moved the divider more and more until he no longer needed it. Basically I don't have to buy a new crate and waste money. I got a crate that grows along with your pup! Its amazing! Perfect for trips! Just fold it down and throw it in the trunk. A bit heavy so I leave the tossing in trunk bit to my hubby. Believe it or not, he has a hard time getting it unfolded and then setting it back up... while I take 5 seconds without any issues. I will say it is a snug fit when assembling it, so watch your fingys! I realize that is just common sense but, some need a reminder ;] Also... I may and or may not have gotten another puppy... so... guess who May or May Not need another one of these fabulous crates...? Me..the answer is me 😂 Look, it isn't the best out there I'm sure the brand name ones they over price and sell at the petstores are very nice... but for someone who does not care about brands, this does the job, my dog loves it, I love it, and it's affordable! If you need a crate for a pup getting ready for crate training this is an amazing deal and an amazing product! I thought this a little over a year ago now and it's still perfect.

Sturdy, relatively reasonably priced crate, but don't order size according to their chart
This is a sturdy crate that is fairly easy to put up and collapse. However, the size recommendations based on dog breed that Amazon provides in the pictures is not the most accurate. The weight recommendation suggested we get a 36" crate since our dog is a little over 50 pounds. However, based on the breed recommendation, we got the 42" for our female boxer. This crate is way too big. It is cumbersome and we have to fold the seats down to travel with it and we have a 2012 Ford Escape (not a huge car, but not a compact, either). We wanted something more easily transportable, but the 42" is pretty heavy and still quite large even when collapsed. I would recommend that you measure and weigh your dog rather than going by recommendations you find Googling or by looking at the chart since both Google results and the accompanying chart recommended a 42" for a boxer. We went with the size recommended for our breed even though the size recommended for her weight was one size down. Maybe this advice is obvious to some people, but I thought that, since more "sources" recommended the larger size for our dog breed, it was most accurate. That turned out not to be true. Remember, your dog only needs enough space to stand up, turn around, and lay down. We ended up ordering a smaller size and now have a giant crate that we need to get off our hands since the return date has long since passed. The inaccuracy of the size recommendation is why I docked the crate one star.

Big, solid, nice price.
Item (42 inch variety) arrived on time and the box it was in was easy to open. The item was essentially already put together but it was folded up. You only had to put the back and front wall on which used little hooks to secure it to the base assembly. The item isn't too heavy to move but isn't light enough to fill chintzy. It comes with one divider that you can use to adjust the available room for your dog so it can grow with your dog. It was easy enough to install, it just has 4-5 hooks that secure it to the top of the assembly (cage). My only concerns with the cage is the manner in which the front, back, and divider pieces are secured. The hooks appear to secure the front/back/divider securely enough to keep it together, but I question its ability to maintain its integrity when a big dog might want to get out. Also, the divider attaches at the top of the cage but there's nothing at the bottom from keeping it from swinging if pressed. It was easy enough to throw on a few zip ties for added security and to hold the bottom of the divider down. This isn't enough to warrant taking a star off as it's a very cheap and quick fix to a product that is priced $40 less than what petco/petsmart/walmart is going to offer. If I have to use 50 cents worth of zip ties to save 40 bucks I'm going to. As of right now the item is an absolute easy buy. I will update my review every month or two if there is anything significant to note. My family and I put our new 8 week-old golden retriever in her new bed last night and when she is an adult I will definitely update the review to indicate its (the cages) longevity. Thanks for reading. Nick

Nice crate for a chewer.
Our dog chewed up every other portable crate we bought. This one looks like a cage but is sturdy, lightweight, and unchewable!

Awesome crate!!
Really happy I bought it, and my 9 weeks old golden seems to love it too. It's easy to fold and unfold, can store it practically anywhere, very sturdy build when unfolded, doesn't wiggle or anything, plastice tray easy to remove and clean, it's not very heavy to carry and there are plastic rollers under the crate to make it easy to roll.

Very sturdy crate!
This is a heavy well built crate. The locks are easy to use but keeps our dog safely inside. It was very easy to assemble.

A good safe place when away from home
Extra large it seems to be well constructed from sturdy thick metal and is easy to errect and collapse it suits my boxer staffy cross in comfort when I'm away from home and with its built in waterproof floor the addition of a bed liner makes it a safe space and when not required it can be stored with minimum fuss due to it not being over heavy
