are these good for carving out large chunks of rock in one peice?

Good long lasting tool. May not be the best choice. Trying to control the size of my digs, i prefer a large chisel or bar and a strong Estwing mash hammer.

Why the information says that the shipping is free, but when i proceed to buy, its giving me a shipping amount?(Im from Bulgaria,Sofia)

This is a well made tool, well balanced and just the right weight. It has a beautiful leather handle that feels comfortable in the hand. I have had two of its companion tools from Estwing, a claw hammer and a small hand axe for many years and they will never wear out!
