Q: How long do the batteries last on average?

We purchased ours last month and use it from 8 PM - 6/7 AM every night, and for afternoon nap time on weekends & non-work days. We made it just about 30 days before the batteries died and the brand of batteries we used were Rayovac.

Q: I'm looking for a portable with continuous sound, without timer. Is this one continuous?
