C&S Sweet Corn Squirrelog, 6-Pack Refill

Situation: Every spring I plant a lot of beautiful flowers and colorful leafy plants like Sweet Potato Vines and Calladiums, both in the ground and in pots. My house backs up to a creek, so squirrels are to be expected. We've coexisted peacefully for many years until this year, when they decided my plants and flowers were delicacies and proceeded to eat everything in sight, essentially decimating my beautiful plantings! No amount of cayenne pepper, cinnamon sticks or other tricks would deter them.Solution: Enter the Squirrelog, which I used to buy at Home Depot from time to time, up until a couple of years ago. They were expensive and only came in a single 2-pack with the mounting screw. I didn't need a new screw every time I needed to replace the log, so I was happy to find the less expensive multi-pack replacement on Amazon! I never used them before for the specific purpose of keeping squirrels away from my plantings, but I thought I'd try them out again to see if it stopped their feasting. I put one on a tree in my backyard, and another one on a tree in my front yard. From the moment I installed them, the squirrels stopped eating my plants and flowers, allowing them to recover and be lush and beautiful again. And the squirrels really love the Squirrelog, so much so, I'm putting out new ones at a rate of one a day. Thank goodness for these multi-packs!The squirrels are fat and happy, and I'm happy now that my plants and flowers are no longer a Vegas buffet. This really works!

Thanks again the great offer on my latest purchase of squirrel corn. These cobs last much longer than regular corn on the cob and the squirrels love them. Highly recommend these.

I bought this hoping that I wouldn’t have to change the corn cobs every day. I have had it out for a week and the squirrels have barely touched it. They are attacking the bird feeder instead. The product is not returnable, so it was a waste of money.

Squirrels in my area love these logs. I have them hung from a lower branch on a wire made from a light duty coat hanger about 12" out from the trunk and 12" down from the branch. Just bend/unbend the tip of the wire to change the log. Each squirrel seems to have a different acrobatic approach on how to eat the log!BUT, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOUR LOCAL HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE MAY HAVE THESE LOGS AT A LOWER PRICE. In my case the logs were about $10 less than Amazon.

These come to $5.51 per pack of two. Most other companies are charging at least $8.03. These are the same size as the more expensive ones. Six two packs are very heavy. This was a great bargain and I know our squirrels will be happy.
