Transformative
Our child welfare agency has purchased over 150 copies of this book and all of our staff have participated in a book study. We are involved with consultation with jurisdictions that have been implementing the SOS work for years. It is a breath of fresh air and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the child protection field.

Excellent book to learn the model and undertand the rationale behind it.Applied to my practice with good results. Highly recommend it if you are interested in working in a non-oppressive way with vulnerable individuals.

Great way of forming child protection plans
This book is a must for any social worker working with children and families. It focuses on strengths and balances this with problems in the family. Andrew Turnell is the expert.

Helpful
