I was praying it was going to be heavy duty. And it is!!! Works great. Doesn’t look ugly. The size was even bigger than I thought which was fine with me. Easy to use. I wasn’t sure about that price but it was worth every penny.

I have it tucked beside a bookcase in my living room and it's attractive and well made. I recently purchased a pellet stove and this is a perfect place to store the ashes. It holds a lot, looks good, and is well made!

Prompt fast delivery and well packaged for shipping. This covered ash can is a true asset if you burn wood. The ashes from my stove sometimes has small hot coals mixed in. My previous ash container is an open top coal shuttle. We have used it for many years and it is still useful but I am retiring it. This covered ash can is not only very useful... It also looks great.

Quality ash bucket. Nice, sturdy metal with a wooden handle for comfort and safety. The bottom is well made. I have used it several times, both hot and cold ashes. It's lid fits tightly so that I'm not concerned if the bucket can't be taken outside right away. It's a nice size as well. Not so big, it's budernsome to carry. Not too small that it would take two trips to empty. It is large enough that I don't need to empty it every cleaning.It sits handsomely with the stone and black iron stove. Couldn't ask for more. I recommend.

Was pleasantly surprised with how well-made this can seemed when we took it out of the box. Looks very nice and the lid stays on with the handle up (I saw a few reviews that said this was an issue). It was also larger than I envisioned and will suit our purposes rather well. They do need to update the listing though because this is most definitely not a black bucket, but more of a charcoal or gunmetal grey. We're fine with it since it's set in a fairly dark recess beside our fireplace, but some people will be disappointed if looking for a true black.

We received this in good condition, without dents. It looks exactly as it does in the picture, and we find it both attractive and functional after using it for several weeks. The lid is not intended to create a tight seal, but it fits well, and we find that the ashes go completely cold and we can put them in the trash without worry. I like the fact that the diameter of the bucket is not too wide, only 10", and with its straight cylinder shape it fits in the narrow area we want to put it. It is 14" high total. The wooden handle is unfinished, as noted by another reviewer, but I don't see that as a problem. I agree with an earlier viewer who noted that there can't be much space, if any, between the two layers of the double bottom, but it seems to be functioning just fine.

Since winter has started, I’ve used this bucket repeatedly for storing fireplace ashes. Normal put cold Ashe’s in but have put warm Ashe’s in a couple times without any troubles. Holds a large amount and the handles is strong enough for the weight. Easy clean up with a damp rag or baby wipe. The color is like an aged brass. So glad I purchased.

I bought the black, but it’s really like a slate-grey color. Bought it for my outdoor patio to empty cigarette ashtrays into. If the lid is on tight it actually seems to be pretty waterproof which I’m thankful for. It’s rained really hard several times since I’ve had it and inside has stayed dry. That said I can tell it’s getting a tiny rust ring on the very bottom and on the inner part of the lid. But they didn’t advertise it for outdoor use and I’m not bothered by that. So, definitely happy with the purchase!! Handle makes it easy to carry to garbage and dump it out.
