CORE makes a good product
We bought this for a street fair setup. Best looking canopy on the street. Really looks nice just like in the picture. Easy to set up. Looks like pretty good quality. Be careful of the wind. No matter what type of canopy you have a strong wind can easily destroy one. We got lucky left it out in a windstorm and it flipped over but didn't break or bend it anywhere. Easy to fold it up and put in the case. The case with rolling wheels is very nice. I'm really glad I bought this canopy. Cannot speak to how waterproof it is but I would think it is adequate looking at the material. It does have plastic hinges which are lot weaker than metal hinges, but I believe they are replaceable if they break. And they shouldn't break unless you abuse it in some way. Core seems like a very good brand and they sell replacement parts for their products. I have been wanting one of their camping tents for a while now and I will probably get one after seeing how good this canopy is.

Rock Solid Canopy
First impressions: this thing is solidly built. The materials appear to be very high quality both with the metal frame and the canopy itself. Some 10'x10' canopies aren't truly 100 square feet but this sucker is big. I was little nervous because there was only one other review offered at the time of purchase. Sadly so many canopies are flimsy and I wanted something that will last. I only pulled the trigger because by all accounts CORE seems to make a top notch product. Setup is definitely a TWO PERSON JOB and so far we've only got it done in as quick as 12 minutes (not the 2 minutes as advertised). Personally, I don't mind the extra effort if this canopy works and works WELL. We live in FL and go to the beach often. I'll report back in a few weeks with an update on how well it's holding up. Good luck canopy shoppers! Update 06/04/2016: I've now used this thing 3 times on the beach and once on a pool deck. I can honestly say that this is a truly excellent canopy. Time will tell if it'll last but so far so good. Everyone that sees it up close remarks how well built it looks. The one additional comment that I have is that lugging the canopy bag is going to require some muscle. It has wheels so it's slick to roll on the sidewalk but going through sand is going to take a little work. Personally, I just threw the bag on my shoulder. It's not super heavy but it's far from lightweight. At the end of the day, I'd much rather have the heft than something weak that'll fall apart. This one is rock solid!

Very sturdy, built well.
I just bought this to replace a coleman canopy of the same size that I lost in a violent thunderstorm, in fact, you can see the remnants of it in the background of the photo. Just set up this Core canopy and I'm very impressed. Set up and take down is a breeze, did it with two people but you can do it alone. The first thing you'll notice is that this thing is built well, it's very sturdy. We used it last night during the rain and a little wind, kept the rain out and withstood the wind. You will not be dissatisfied with this canopy. I'll update and time goes on. Hopefully this will last a few years as my Coleman did. Update: While I have used it in the rain with good results, very heavy rain changed that. A lot of water came through on our second time using it in a heavy rainstorm. I still stand by the 5 stars as I never expected to be fully water proof, but figured i'd mention it. Update 9/15: It's been nearly 5 months, I've had it up and never have taken it down. It's withstood heavy thunderstorms, wind, heavy rain. I recommend this to anyone. I'm going to see how long I can go into the winter with this. I should mention, I use the good yellow tent anchors rather than the supplied small metal anchors. Update 8/5/2020: I lost it in a Tropical storm, mangled beyond recognition. I want to buy another but now it's twice the price of what I paid and they are sold out everywhere.

Great Canopy but.....
This was our second canopy, previous one was stolen out of the back of my truck. These are pretty easy to put up. Easier with help, especially when windy. My 12yo daughter and I put it up in about 5 minutes. On our second day at the beach, a very blustery day, the stakes pulled loosed while we were in the water and it blew over. One of the sides bent but it was still usable. So my only complaint is the wimpy stakes that held it in failed on a windy day. So, I bought a set of larger, 12inch stakes for our next beach adventure. That should do the trick. This canopy is a great design since the top actually has ventilation in the center and it doesn't hold the heat like our previous canopy did. Overall we are happy with the canopy, but they SERIOUSLY need to beef up those puny stakes. It's easy to assemble and well built with the one pro viso. I would buy it again.

Liked the first so much we bought another
We bought one of these when we moved to Florida. 8 years later it still worked great but was getting some pin holes in the fabric and it's water repellent capabilities were non-existent. This thing is very quick and easy to set up. We've never had a tear or issue other than the old one has enough sand in the parts to make locking it in place a bit of a chore. But, the old one still works. We've given it to our daughter and SIL to use. It lasted much longer than I thought it would and, these days, it's getting very difficult to find quality products that can stand the test of time.

Great Canopy
I've owned a couple other Pop-Up Canopies before the CORE unit: An original EZ-Up and a cheapo knockoff. The knock off lasted a single weekend and sucked. The EZ-Up was decent and lasted a good summer. It could have lasted longer until someone unfamiliar with the take-down process, bent it up. (Yes, I'm still upset about it) Now I was looking for something BETTER and was willing to pay more. I asked around and was pointed at this CORE Canopy. I received it the day before our family outing to the desert so I had no time to trial erect it. Without any help from me, my family read the instructions erected this thing for the first time in about 20 minutes. No problems what so ever. As it approached noon, I sat under the canopy as the temperature reached >95°F. We had a slight breeze and I noticed that the top vents even functioned (i.e. lifted up and down with the air movement). It shaded well and so far so good. At the end of the day, I helped with the take-down. The oversized buttons worked great and even allowed my 12 year old daughter to release the corners and collapse the legs. In the past, pushing the little springy buttons pinched fingers and broke nails. Not this time. The collapsing frame and joints were beefy enough to fold up without warping. The wheeled carry bag was reinforced and had compression straps at the lift points. It felt robust and I had no concerns that the carry bag was going to tear during loading into the back of my SUV. Admittedly, the whole unit is heavier than others I've had but the wheels worked great so I barely noticed. Truth is that I'd expect better quality to also be a bit heavier. For the record, I paid $150 with free shipping from Prime. This is a Sale price but it is the same as anyone else that is going to buy one now. So here's my bottom line. I love this canopy and would buy it again. Actually, I would even do it again at full price ($180).

Tent Flipped, Frame Snapped (with metal stakes in ground) from Light Gust of Wind
Very excited to have made this purchase, was looking forward to using this regularly at my daughter's softball games. During our second use, a slight (seriously slight) gust of wind flipped the tent upside down from her teams bench and over a fence. It would have rolled onto the field had we not secured one side of the tent to the fencing protecting the bench. I also had installed metal spikes (as provided by core) into the legs of the tent to secure it. The stakes were of no help. This tent was set up adjacent to another parent's tent. Their tent did not budge under the same wind condition, not even slightly. What's more frustrating is that when our tent's frame snapped, we could not collapse it back together, which prevented me from boxing it and shipping it back to the seller. I had to carry it away to the closest dumpster. We buy a ton of products and some are better than advertised, some worse. But this was a brand new tent. I cannot believe this could have happened during only our second use. I would have preferred to communicate directly with the seller rather than post this review, but as far as I could tell there is no contact information readily available via their Amazon store. If Core happens to read this, I would appreciate them reaching out to discuss.

A solid pop-up canopy
I bought this as "project completed" kind of celebratory gift. To herald in the patio being ripped up and redone, we decided to have a barbecue of course. And because we have no awning, the only way to make sure people wouldn't burn to a crisp under the July sun while being out to look at the new patio, we needed SOME sort of canopy. And so the search began. Comparing materials, square footage, easy of assembly, reviews, reviews, reviews.... So anyway I got this one and it's great. Pros: It can in fact be popped up with one person [but you'll have an easier time with two or more people, to be sure]. It comes in a wheely bag which is great for rolling it out of your vehicle to wherever you want to set up. It's sturdy and breathable so the wind won't easily foist it. The height is adjustable and if you are a aesthetics kind of person, sometimes the middle height just looks better, but you have that option to change it. The canopy is easy to clean, and the velcro fastens are sewn in there tightly. Cons: The stakes to hold down the tent corners if you need it bend easier than you may expect. In the same vein of many tetris packed items [sleeping bags, roll up mattresses, etc.], it's hard to get it back in the bag as neatly as it was when you first open it [not impossible, but you'll definitely just be cramming the canopy back in at the top no doubt]. And for your aesthetics types again, the grey looks a little plain [at the time of ordering, there were no color alternatives]. It has not had to endure any extreme weather patterns, and has only been left up overnight once, during summer. It's pretty nifty though, I've already had some neighbors borrow it for their entertaining and outdoor table events.

Poor service at amazon
Product is as described, great quality, easy to setup. I was disapointed with this order as I should get this shelter before my trip, instead of shelter I got a sofa chair... then I had a hassle to return that sofa chair... my shelter arrived after another week.

Completamente recomendable!

decent product for your mony
canopy is built well. was able to set it up by my self without bending or breaking any of the structure. it took me 15 min to figure out and set up. worked well. I would recommend to others. we used it to keep picnic table dry while camping. it folds up by your self and stores easily. it is on heavy side but that's what you get when built well
