When we went on vacation they had bacon jerky that was very good. When I got back I had to get some more bacon jerky and didnt find anything around here that I liked. I got on amazon and saw this. Thought I’d try it. It was gone in a day. It was very good. It was soft jerky like bacon. Very good taste. I was hoping it would last longer because the price is a little expensive for us, but I couldn't help myself but eat it. The zipper made it easy to open and close the package to keep the food fresh for anyone that would need to keep it longer. I did think you got more than what you’d think you’d get for the size of package it is. I can’t wait to have more of this delicious bacon jerky. i Luv Bacon so i hade to give this Jerky Bacon a try after i saw it for 4$ on amazon. as long as it remains in this price range i will continue ti purchase more. it taste like bacon but with very tasty maple flavoring all over them. its great to just eat right out the bag or add it to other foods. some fat parts but i even think those pieces taste great. its not going to be for everyone but i sure as heck am enjoying them. now i wish i bought more packs along with this one as it will most likely be gone in one sitting. will be buying more very very soon. well done slim jim. UPDATE 4-18-14 Welp looks like the price has sky rocketed to nearly 9$ bucks from sellers. way to much for what you get. will keep the 5 stars as long as amazon keeps the low price in tact once its restocked again. time will tell.

I saw the Slim Jim Maple Bacon Jerky and said to myself that it sounds different but I am going to have to try it. I love bacon, I love maple syrup on my bacon. I am not much on frying bacon though, I get splattered every time. I bought two bags, one for me one for my child who also loves bacon. I was mentally prepared not to like it as much as I like regular bacon, and I was floored at how good it was. I wanted to keep the other bag for myself, but I reluctantly shared, my child loves Slim Jim Maple Bacon Jerky too. The best bacon I have ever had, perfect for making BLT's, or to take along as a nice snack, serve at breakfast, now you can have bacon any time anywhere, whenever you want! I also tried the Slim Jim Hickory Bacon Jerky, it's great too but the maple bacon jerky has that little bit of sweetness that's perfectly paired with this bacon. I haven't bought regular refrigerated splatter the kitchen bacon since I have tried Slim Jim Maple Bacon Jerky. You know what? Other's must agree because it's hard to find and sold out most of the time. It's too good, I almost don't want you to know how good it is because it sells out so fast, lmao.

I'll be honest here the product itself tastes really great, actually almost too good. I could eat a ton of this stuff but the downside is it is super smoky in smell and in flavor. If you want the honest truth the one thing that makes me not want to order it is that your hands smell like the smokey bacon smell for days! Also you end up burping that strong smell for a long time and you can imagine what it also smells like coming out the other end if I'm being Frank. I shared some with my 4 year old son and I'm not joking right now it was a really bad experience smelling the toots coming out of him for the next day or so! No more of this stuff for him unless it's right before I'm sending him back to his moms house! I'm not kidding about this. This stuff tastes so good but there is a price to be paid!

I love the maple flavor taste, I dislike that the bag is not a little fuller, I use to buy the jack links beef jerky, that’s before I discover the slim Jim bacon jerky maple flavor, this is the perfect Adkins low carb snack for me being a long haul truck driver I get sick of some foods we eat out here, your Slim Jim’s is more healthy and very good and very light on my stomach also satisfying. I enjoy the flavor, but inconsistent quality. One bag will have decent tender pieces, but the next can be qrissley scraps. Have paid more for them in the past, but the current price is, well, easier to swallow.

This is my favorite jerky. When I travel, I often take protein bars, dried fruit, and other products that I can use for breakfast in my room, as I'm not a morning person, and can't take time for a restaurant meal. The bacon jerky is a life-saver. Love the flavor and chewy texture. It looks and tastes like real bacon. The maple flavor is a bonus. I hope Slim Jim continues to produce this product. I used to find it at Love's stations on the interstate, but now find it only on Amazon.

I received 8 bags of maple as ordered, all with just over a month left before expiration. The maple flavor was essentially nonexistent, and the product didn’t taste fresh. Very disappointed in the quality.
