Useful but uncomfortable
This item met my expectations, but I didn't expect much. Its no Lay-Z-Boy; perched precariously with the barest of buttock purchase on this tiny seat, it took the pressure off my knees for a few moments, but that is all. Then, intolerable after a few minutes, it was time to get up and get moving. This is also no stadium seat. It is a brief respite, the center pole drawn deep into my crotch, pelvis poised on that pancake-sized plastic, knees deliberately placed, feet firmly planted to provide additional balance and support to this tiny tripod. This model is stressed to 441 lbs and I've taken it to 65% of that without failure so far. Overall, I'd give this a 4/5, with the caveat that someone could design a far better seat pan.

Metal rings safer
I had a drive cane stool for years. I bought a new one that broke and sent me to the ground. The plastic ring snapped. This chair has metal rings instead of plastic. It has a nicer seat also. I look forward to using this upgraded cane/stool.

Freedom
This cane gave me some freedom back! I suffer from Severe Spinal Stenosis, DiscDegeneration, and have weak legs and feet. I can only walk a few feet at a time and my feet go numb randomly, when this happens I put my cane down and open the seat and break for a few min and can walk again! I strongly recommend! The seat is a bit small but it does the job!
