Q: Does this spray have a heavy scent?

It has a scent but I didn't find it heavy. I am very sensitive to smell, but this spray doesn't bother me at all.

Q: Is it good for synthetic heat friendly wigs, too?

I never used heat on any of my wigs, I only used this product to hold the hair in place, and it worked pretty good; however, in using this product you have to wash the wigs more frequently, to keep their natural look. I hope this helps.

Q: Are there any fragrance free unscented hairsprays for wigs?

I use Vanicream hair spray (formerly Free & Clear) on my wigs. It is fragrance free and it actually has less ingredients in it than the hair sprays made specifically for wigs, and the ingredients it does have are the same as what's in wig sprays. Works well and costs less too.

I believe I used it on human hair wigs also.
