Monoi Tiare Tahiti Scented Oil With Vanilla

Recently I began taking a Tahitian drumming and dancing class with my teenage daughter. I was introduced to this oil through our classmates. This oil is a godsend!! I use it after my showers or before I go outside in the sun. It has HEALED my skin!! It goes on smoothly and keeps my skin moisturized!! It definitely lasts all day!! And the smell.... PHENOMENAL!! It's the most beautiful jasmine paired with light coconut fragrance. I have the Vanilla, Tiare and this one, while they are all delish smelling, this one is MY FAV🌸🫶🏽 The only thing I would point out (And I believe the source of any negative reviews) this oil is PURE so it solidifies somewhere around 68-72 degrees. That's TOTALLY NORMAL!! I just run it under hot water for a minute in the sink or if it's for after shower, I just leave it out next to the shower while I'm showering and by the time I get out it's completely liquefied again. I highly recommend this oil!! My skin.... Like touching a cloud!! (Oh and I have no science to back this up....but my stretch marks....on my stomach and the backs of my legs....healing....is it this?!? I haven't introduced ANY other changes to my routine....Maybe?! I'm HUGE into the healing power of plants, maybe the Tiare flower is good for stretch marks?! I have much research to do and will update my review once I have any info on this theory. I first bought Monoi oil when visiting Oahu and it allowed me to grow my 4a hair really long. I stopped using it for years and recently decided to grow my hair back out. I was very pleased when I received this in the mail. It is the quality and lovely scent as I remembered it from the island.

Smaller than I expected but smells great

This is the best moisturizer I've ever used. The particles of monoi oil are smaller than other types of oil, so it soaks into your skin/hair. The smell is warm and light, with a vanilla marshmallow scent. I use this on my body immediately after a shower, as well as in my hair (I have dry, wavy red hair). It makes your hair soo soft and shiny, but don't overdo it. I also use this on my face at night after I apply my retinol cream, and fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes have plumped and decreased. My skin is naturally SUPER oily, and though it seems counter-intuitive to use oil on my face, it actually helps my skin to not be as oily. I have only used this at night, not under makeup, so I can't vouch for the results of how my skin would react as a day moisturizer. It's true that the oil solidifies in cooler temperatures, but instructions for dealing with this (a common issue with coconut based oils) are written on the back of the bottle. I can't believe one reviewer threw their bottle away due to this! Don't waste it, ding dong!!! This stuff is like the holy grail of multi-purpose moisturizers! The only issue I have is that the bottle design causes the oil to come out all at once, but at the same time, I absolutely love this retro-style label. It's like 60's style Hawaiian kitsch. An inexpensive, wonderful product, I would recommend this brand of manoi oil to absolutely anyone!

Gave me an itchy rash. I have no idea what’s in this stuff that would cause that reaction. It was specifically in the spot on my arm where I tried out the oil. The scent is also cheap and strange.

I remember this product being on the market for quite some time now as a kid a remember the divine smell of it when my step sister used it. For the past 2 years ive been ordering it from time to time but recently very often. I love coconut oil and the health benefits of it is amazing! Whether for your skin or hair this product is ideal! What tops it all is the super nutty smell of it! Usually pure coconut oil doesn't have a smell, but the the hint of Vanilla and tiaré flower in it makes it heavenly! It absorbs well and doesn't make my skin too oily! It gaves it a natural glow! I live in the Sunshine state of Florida and i don't have to worry about about my skin being too greasy. I add a drop of it in my daily moisturizer. I also use it after i shampoo and dry my dreadlocks and it moisturizes my locks nicely. The reason i give it 4 stars is because the bottle opening is very poor quality it pour out too much of oil all at once and if ur not careful it spills all over the place! I usually keep the bottle in my bag and because of that i put it into a plastic zip lock bag for protection and i dont know how, it still runs out and the bottle is closed! It's a greasy mess! The first set of bottles came with a plastic safety top on the inside but my last order came with none! The company really needs to consider a more secure bottle top for it! Apart from that i trully recommend this product!

smells so lovely. I use this as a tanning oil and as a perfume sometimes. It always leaves my skin very well hydrated. I just wish it came in a larger bottle. You do just have to be careful when pouring some out because a little goes a long way!

As others have rightly noted here, the vanilla in this isn't cloyingly sweet or cheap-smelling like candy; instead, it feels expensive and gourmand—a truly exquisite, luxurious fragrance!

Excellent customer service - my package came damaged, as the bottle was not closed tightly inside and it had leaked - the seller gave me a refund for the trouble. I love using oils on my body - I liked the subtle vanilla scent of this one. I use it alone or mix it in with other oils that I use on my body.

Stunning oil perfect for damaged hair. My hair is ruined by bleach and this oil is the perfect antidote to dryness and smooths split ends and adds lustre. Also smells incredible. Best oil for bleached hair that’s type 2a.

Vorweg....schneller und einfacher Versand. Sehr toller und lobenswerter Verkäufer! Kleine Visitenkarte und kleine Aufmerksamkeit dazugelegt! Das es heute sowas nich gibt!!!!! Das Öl riecht einfach nur lecker. Ich mag süsse Düfte, aber dieses riecht nicht zu süss, eher angenehm und weich. Nach dem Duschen/Baden auf die noch feuchte Haut auftragen. Oder als Pflege ins feuchte Haar geben und später ausspülen miz Shampoo. Das Öl wird bei "Kälte" fest und bei Wärme, oder wärmerer Umgebung flüssig. Ich habe es angewärmt im Badewasser und dann eine kleine Menge im leerem Cremetiegel abgefüllt. So kann man es besser entnehmen. Leere Tiegelchen bekommt man im Drogeriemarkt. Das Highlight ist die kleine Blüte in der Flasche selbst. Ein richtiger Hingucker. Tolles Öl, leckerer Duft! Wird weiterempfohlen und nachgekauft.
