Excellent safety feature.
These are the most reliable switches out there. I use these in all my 30 and 55cc planes. The LED can be mounted where you always have the visual knowing the ignition is "hot". I've also used these for the newer 9cc engines and they work perfect there as well.

Nice addition to my aircraft!
When flying my 30CC gas engine airplane I always want to keep safety at the forefront. As such I opted to use this handy optical kill so that I can remotely kill the ignition for the engine.

It does work well.
Some say it is not a kill switch. In my mind that is exactly what I would call it. I have it plugged into the Gear switch. When I land I flip the gear switch and stops the engine. At any time you would like to stop the engine turn off the gear switch. There may be a problem using as instructed, I think it shorten the life of the ignition. I put a new ignition in my plane In May 2020. It worked great. I installed the switch in Sept 2020. The ignition died 30 days later
