Used for prop work, worked well.
Built a replica Jukebox for the play Sweat. Chrome trim worked super, we did fasten it to the prop with liquid nails construction adhesive. The pressure sensitive adhesive foam tape that comes on the product was too weak for our purpose. Product is very shiny and flexible. Many compliments.

Horrible tape—will fly off while driving
Unfortunately the tape on these is absolutely terrible. I started loosing chrome strips off the car within the same week of installation. I thought maybe the rest of them will hold but they have all come off piece by piece—this is after installing them after scraping off old residue and cleaning all areas with alcohol to properly prep for installation. Don’t buy these if they are going on your daily driver.

Some finish messed up out of the container needs better adhesive such as 3M VHB TALE
Looks ok but some pieces had finish wrinkles. The adhesive does not hold up under high heat of Arizona. If you do use it get some 3M VHB tape and throughly clean the area and use rubbing alcohol to clean and dry before installing then run hard because it is a pressure sensitive adhesive.

Quality chrome shine
I have used similar products before and the chrome appearance was dull. This one is like real chrome. It sticks well also if you prepare the surface appropriately. Would buy again.

Nice way to add bling
Added a nice level of protection to my pickup floor, along with some bling. Got a couple hundred likes on FB.

Poor quality
It appears that they did not use 3m adhesive tape for their backing. The molding did not adhere well. The surface was properly and carefully cleaned for this application. The finish did not have a bright chrome finish on it. You get what you pay for.

Bellissima! Usata per rifinire il bordo della pittura in bagno, vista la posizione l’ho incollata alle piastrelle con millechiodi trasparente e nonostante acqua, umidità e lavaggi con i prodotti per la pulizia del bagno, è ancora perfetta dopo più di un anno. Ho fatto la scelta giusta ed è un prodotto versatile e di qualità.

Opzich een nette chroomstrip. Alleen de lijmlaag laat te wensen over. Zodra de plakstrip met vocht in aanraking komt, laat de Strip los!!

Pas mal du tout !
Utilisé dans le but de protéger le tour de caisse au niveau de l'arête longitudinale sur un fourgon fraîchement repeint. Propre comme un neuf, il devra le rester puisque sa seconde vie sera celle d'un véhicule de loisir. Ce fourgon aménagé, pour moi, doit avoir de la gueule et de belles finitions. Question de... Fierté ! 😉 Après dégraissage de la peinture, après avoir tiré une bande-cache tout le long de chaque côté (pour être sûr que de soit droit, n'est ce pas...), j'ai mesuré les longueurs à couper. Au ciseau, ça va parfaitement. Décollé les protections adhésives et j'ai posé. L'adhésif 3M tient bien. Il fait froid en ce moment, j'ai donc passé (raisonnablement !) un coup de chaud avec le décapeur thermique puis j'ai retiré les protections adhésives translucides destinées à protéger le chrome. Premier côté et résultat : C'est top, c'est beau, ça en jette ! Enthousiaste pour le deuxième côté, le tour de caisse est fini et la pose de cet adhesif (de qualité) donne un aspect plus conforme à ce qui se fait actuellement mais aussi, il va éviter les fameux coups de portes 'sur l'arête' qui laissent à chaque fois des plis durables sauf à passer par un carrossier, redresser, repeindre... Fastidieux ! Ces bandes chromées trouvent donc toute leur utilité en plus de donner l'image d'un véhicule qui se démarque. Ça le fait bien, sans souci particulier. Notez que : La carrosserie doit être propre et dégraissée. Le collage tient bien y compris sous la pluie normande puisque ce fourgon ne rentre pas dans mon atelier et qu'il a plu de nombreux jours dessus. J'avais un peur d'un décollage de place en place, mais non. Rien n'a bougé ! Alors, encore une fois, je remercie infiniment Amazon et ses vendeurs pour les super produits dénichés à un prix tiré...
