RedBarn Filled Bone - Chicken - 3.5 in.

I ordered this mostly for the bone as I refill them for my dog anyway. The bone is great, nice and thick to hold up to hard chewers. I pulled out and threw away the filling it came with though because it had the consistency of silly putty and just didn't seem quite right.

I love the filled bones, and keep a supply on hand of both the small ones and the large ones. Once the filling is gone, I refill them with potted meat, peanut butter, or cheese. They're the ideal treat for a dog like Cody - she's still a chewer at 7 months, and being a German Shepherd/Golden Retreiver mix, she has a very strong bite. I can give her a stuffed bone when crating her, or at night when it's time for bed, and I haven't had to worry about her breaking splinters off it. One of the few dog treats that I can say that about.

Red Barn is very inconsistent as far as the bone sizes. Heights are all approx 3-4 inches. But widths are radically different from bone to bone - some were easily quarter of the size of the others and therefore didn't have a lot of filling. Will not order again.

Natural bones are my favorite treats for my dogs and they come in so many sized they are perfect for any dog

whatever it was n the inside of the bone was nasty and my dog would not eat it and be honest it looked gross and smelled funny

filling is dried up and fell out as soon as I opened the package

To frustrating for my dogs, lost interest very fast.
