Western Digital WD Purple 256GB Surveillance and Security Camera Memory Card for CCTV & WiFi Cameras (WDD256G1P0C)

Working very good with 3MP cctv camera with continuous recording. No problems.

I bought the wd purple qd101 high endurance micro SD card for my 70 Mai 510 dashcam. I purchased earlier a yewon 256 gb sdxc card but it didn’t workout as I got the low performance error. So after some research and reading purchased wd as I have a v good experience with wd storage drives since college. It formatted smoothly in the dashcam and started recording smoothly while tasting. Will update after installing in my car. 4 stars for the product manufactured in Feb 2024.

Good with price just go it product. Connectivity is easy. Video quality is good usefulness for car dashcams

Received original product so happy. Few days back purchased one memory card from another platform and turn out to be fake so it was a headache to return. This one is original do the memory card prices as search got it at 3K on freedom festival. Works very well with dash cam.

Super

Installed this in tapo wifi camera. It has been 5 months of continuous use and there are no issues faced so far. Recording and playback is smooth. No card corruption observed so far.

This is very good SD card

I used this card in my ddpai dash cam for 2.5 years and later it started troubling me as the videos started getting corrupted. But for the price it held up good for a dash cam memory card. Now i have moved on Sandisk high endurance.

Excellent, time will tell if they are as robust as needed for a Car Dash Cam

I purchased the Western Digital microSD card (128GB) to pair with my security camera, and it has exceeded expectations across the board. If you need a memory card that can handle constant writing and harsh outdoor conditions, this is the one to get. Excellent Compatibility Worked right out of the box with my Tapo security camera. It was instantly recognized, formatted without any issues, and has been operating flawlessly ever since. No errors, no dropped footage, and zero lag in playback. Built for Continuous Use This card is clearly designed for 24/7 use. It handles constant write cycles without breaking a sweat. After several weeks of use in a high-motion area, the footage remains smooth and uninterrupted. No signs of degradation or lag—even during longer video review sessions. Weather Resistant and Durable With heat, cold, and occasional rain exposure (since my camera is mounted outdoors), I wanted something tough—and this card delivers. It’s rated for extreme temperatures, and I feel confident it will last through all four seasons. Fast Transfer Speeds Whether recording or downloading footage, the read/write speeds are more than sufficient for security needs. I was also able to transfer large files to my PC quickly via a card reader—no hiccups. Plenty of Storage 64GB gives me ample recording time before overwriting, especially when paired with motion-activated recording. Great balance between capacity and performance for most home setups. Final Verdict This Western Digital microSD card is a reliable, high-performance solution that’s perfect for smart home devices and continuous video capture. It’s dependable, durable, and well worth the investment for peace of mind. Highly recommended for anyone using outdoor security cameras or looking for worry-free long-term storage.
