Useful for 24vac control of large 120vac applications, A/C's and large 120vac motors

Good contact
Our aging but tough as nails unit keeps burning up 30amp contractors. I believe the fact that they used 30amp contractors to begin with was a planned fail. After 2nd failed contacter in 5 years, always the same overheated melt down( amp draws of Compressor/fan normal). I've simply upgraded to a heavier contacter. One year in,so far so good. Not seeing the darker red overheating caused discoloration on contacts! Now...I dont know if this does same on 40 amp units,but I recommend for 30amp units,especially in hot climes.

Solid replacement
This contactor worked perfectly as a replacement. Coil voltage and amp rating matched exactly, and installation was straightforward with all terminals laid out clearly. The contactor pulls in cleanly, operates quietly, and handles the load without any issues. Build quality looks good for the price and it performs as expected in an HVAC application. Overall, this is a reliable and cost-effective replacement contactor. Iโd have no problem using it again for service or repair work.

May not work on Trane units
Won't work on older Trane models that have the circular wire connectors.

WEAK Housing material. Brittle
Housing broke when tightened the main #8 lugs so be careful. I thought i was,, but she just crumbled apart. Not good as i have installed many other brands with no issues...

Very cheap....
Very cheap. I installed it but had remorse. Order the original brand and replaced it. Playing with 240 volts... I don't think it's wise to install poor quality parts.

Works perfectly!
AC failed in the middle of heat wave. I was able to get this part very quickly the next day. Easy to install and no issues, I just followed the original wiring diagram and connected all the wires as per original connections. AC came alive after power it back on. Highly recommended and very affordable price.
