I have a couple of those essential oil in bottle with reeds diffusers and I made a mistake of refilling with some water for the solutions in my experiment. The original reeds then got some black molds. These reeds are thinner but I can see the big pores. I only need like 5 to 10 and this will last for a long time.

The scent

They are fine. A lot shorter and thicker than the ones that came with the original diffuser set. Arrived on time.

I used these reeds with a vanilla essential oil and there was no scent.

I was pleased to try these 'HOSSIAN 7 Inch Reed Diffuser Sticks,-Diffuser Sticks-Reed Diffuser- Reed Sticks Aroma Diffuser Sticks for Aroma Fragrance(100 PCS)'. I often buy reed diffuser aroma units but find that even though I turn the reeds upside down each week, by half way down the liquid the aroma lessens a lot. I presume this is because the reeds get clogged up and do not diffuse well any more. Having this set of 100 reeds I will be able to replace them regularly.They are 7 inches long and there were just over 100 in my packet. Having the branded cardboard packet to keep them in will be handy. They are a very light 'blonde' colour and you can see the tiny holes in the end where the aroma is sucked up by capillary action.I will give making my own essential oil in an empty diffuser bottle. I'm sure it will work out cheaper.The price of £6.99 for 100, 7 inch, reeds is good in my opinion. I have bought some from my online supermarket before that worked out a lot more expensive.
