10 Pounds All Natural Crushed Oyster Shells for Poultry Birds and Gardens - Garden Naturals

Bought these because my local Tractor Supply has been out of oyster shells for the past couple of months! My chickens have no issues with the flakes and this will last them a good while.

My chickens like this oyster shell much more than the other brand I was buying. The other brand is all bleached white and in small chunks. These are easier to eat, less processed and smell faintly of the ocean. Their eggshells improved within days of switching over.

Chickens can't eat these unprocessed shell chips. Might be good for long-term garden nutrients though

LOVE this product! My birds will leave regular crushed oyster shell in the feeder, but these shells are in a much better size and shape for them. They prefer crushed egg shells over all else, but this product they are eating well.

It says "crushed" Oyster Shells but it's "pea" sized "rocks" ... Perhaps it's OS but not what I was expecting. Will see if it can be returned, I have one hen that needs 100% OS, so far Scratch & Peck 'flaked' OS has made a huge difference with her egg shell/laying. Feed stores here haven't been able to get any since Covid.

Excellent value. Our hens are offered this on the side when we have chicks in with the flock and cannot feed layer feed. We can see the difference immediately after providing the crushed oyster shells. We highly recommend this.

We ordered these for the chickens, they are superior to crushed or ground shells for egg production and hard shells.
