Works like a charm!
This product was just what I needed... the thermal controller on my graphics card went out and wouldn't tell the fans to come on. This allowed me to run the gpu fans off the pwm 4 pin motherboard connection. Worked like a charm.

Wired backwards
The negative (-) and 12v (+) wires were reversed. Had to move the pins myself to make use of cable.

Don’t use this for your GPU fans
Spun the fans for about 8 seconds, then cooked the motherboard. Probably not the cable itself, but this cable is not a good idea at all. I’d put it down as just as bad of an idea as the Sata-to-GPU cable adapter.
