Great pack for all outdoor activities!
This pack has the space needed to be the pack mule for a family of riders. This is a very well made and comfortable pack. I use it primarily for aggressive trail riding and carry all the supplies needed to make it out and back. Plenty of water for long rides and space for gear, tools, snacks, and whatever the ride requires. It's sturdy (crashed on it a couple of times) and very breathable. This will be the second one, for my son that needs more water capacity and his own gear for rides. Excellent pack.

Great CamelBak!
Maiden voyage was a 12 mile hike in a remote national forest and I am very please with the purchase. I've been limping along with 2 liter bags for years and having 3 liters was very much appreciated. The water bag goes in and out of the bag with ease and the tube only needs to be fished through 2 holes (not sure you can call them holes). The tube can go on either side depending on your preference. There is a lot of storage space with this pack without making the bag itself big or bulky. It is comfortable to wear and didn't grind down on my shoulders. The design to allow your back to to get some air actually works really well. Do you still get some wet back shirt? Yes, but nothing like I have with other bags I have been using.

Outstanding backpack
Update: I've now had this CamelBak for a year and have used it on multiple occasions, incl a recent 14er hike in CO, and absolutely love it. The design and weight distribution are outstanding, as is the number and location of storage pockets. Don't waste your $$ on a cheaper backpack; I did and regretted it. I bought this to replace a cheaper (non-CamelBak) water backpack we purchased 2 yrs ago. It was a pain from the start: hard to clean, the mouthpiece frequently leaked, etc. The final straw was when the mouthpiece came apart while hiking up a 14er with my son - about the worst place to have a water-pack malfunction!! We've had a smaller one of these for yrs and have never experienced any problems with it, so this time I paid to get the quality we needed. We've used this backpack several times and it's been great.

Great pack but needs one big change
Overall I am very happy with this pack. Cons. 1. The buckles suck though, you have to really pay attention when you put them together or they get jammed. I wish Camelbak would have just used regular buckles. 2. The magnetic tube holder is worthless. I am a bigger guy but the tube never stays on the magnet. 3. It can be a little difficult to put the bladder in the bag but it isn't bad. 4. My Samsung S23 ultra is tight in the phone pocket. Pros 1. The phone pocket is great. I love being able to get to my phone without having to take my pack off. 2. I love the little tool pouch that comes with the pack. I can fit a few tools in it and have also built a small first aid kit to keep in the pouch. 3. The "battery" pocket is nice for keeping a spare tube. 4. I am 300lbs and the pack fits great. Doesn't move around on me while riding Hopefully this pack holds up long term because I do really like it and would recommend it.

Good purchase and a little better than old one
My old MULE was in such bad shape, broken latch, corroded zipper and bladder had some issues connecting with drinking tube. Purchased for Christmas and have used 8 times for so far and very pleased. Great fit, good pocket space. Overall better than my old one.

Very efficient and plenty of storage for anything you might need!
This bag was pretty much everything I needed out of a bag and more! There is a secret pocket that perfectly fits any phone. It has easy reach while wearing on the left bottom side. Holds 2 liters of water and the amount of storage is awesome. Only negative is that when the water bag is full, the straps make you're shoulders sore as they are very thin and not padded.

Small bag for small commutes
Fits what I need for a bike ride, just the essentials. Has enough space for my pump, tools for tube change, snacks. Pack is stiff and space is kinda cramped so If you have a sweater or need to take another pair of shoes it won't fit depending on what you already have. But its great for working out and carrying what you need incase you get hungry or a flat tire.

Great bag, sketchy webbing shoulder straps
I love this bag, it is comfortable and the tool roll is so handy. The only con I can think of, is that the shoulder straps are made of webbing for air flow, and they feel sort of weak. However, I went and hiked around 5 miles, some of it hard climbing, and I've also done some single track twice now, and it gave me some confidence. All in all, 5 stars

This thing is great
Love this backpack. Bought it for a trip to Disney. Filled it with ice in the morning on the way to the parks - 7am. By some wizardry the water was still cold at 4pm after a long amd extremely hot Florida day. I will buy another for the next trip so I can carry around a ton of water and not have to pay 5 bucks a bottle. Other perks - it hs a curve to it so it stays off your back and air can flow around so you don’t get super sweaty. Straps are maybe the only option side - they aren’t padded. I didn’t care but my wife wasn’t a fan.

Everything I need.
This is a very light weight and well thought out cycling bag. I have never wanted to use the drinking system for these bags so I removed the reservoir but bought the separate CAMELBAK Back Impact Protector Panel to put in its place. The bag has a small zip pocket at the top for my keys, a large full length, open pocket on the back to stash my raincoat and a cool 'hidden' smart phone sized pocket on the bottom left corner. Inside there is ample room with 2 large full bag sized zipped compartments for all your needs including a spare battery for an e-bike. On the back and front there are loops to attach clip bike lights and GoPro etc.... I like the chest strap which is adjustable up and down not just length. This bag also keeps you warm! My only gripe is I would like one in red or maybe yellow to improve visibility when on roads and maybe some reflective areas.
