Blade Hawks Double-Sided Aluminum Core Gaming Mouse Pad

I was looking for a decent replacement after my Rocketfish aluminum mousepad got scratched up after about 7 years. I almost bought a new mouse instead! Then I thought, "wait, maybe it's the MOUSEPAD that's the problem..." and lo & behold, it wasn't actually my mouse!The mousepad is quite a bit bigger than my previous one, but I've found I like the space. It has rubber feet on each corner but they don't really get in the way and they don't make the mousepad harder to use. One side has a rougher textured side for more controlled clicking, and the other is super smooth. From personal experience, I like having the controlled side for MMO play and the smooth side for FPS and MOBAs.Overall I feel like this is a great value since it'll last for years without ever fraying. It's super easy to clean and it keeps your wrist from coming in contact with whatever nasty crud lives inside cloth mousepads. If you want something that'll look sleek on your desk without lighting up and taking up a USB port for no reason, then this is a great buy.

I -hate- cloth pads, and pads like this are too few and far between. I had a couple old cheap Rocketfish pads with a similar aluminum construction, but different shape. Those were great too, but I couldn't find them anywhere and had a heck of a time finding another aluminum pad with dual surfaces at a sane price. Not only do I like the shape and size better with this pad, but the feet are better as well. The other pad had 4 feet on each side made of rubber, which eventually started coming off. These feet wrap around the corners, giving them more surface area to stick, and could be much more easily reattached if it ever became necessary.The only worry I had was potential flex in the middle of the pad, as it's supported only at the corners. It does indeed flex, but it hasn't impacted me in any way. The only way I notice it is that it gives it a bit of a cushion-like feel when I wrest my palm on the very bottom of the pad. Using the mouse itself doesn't cause any flex.Just a fantastic pad, and a great price for it.

I'm glad I bought this mouse pad, One side for precision (rough side ) and the other is for speed (smooth side) making it great for anyone !! Within the first 10 minutes of use, I took my old deskpad off and have no intention of using it after trying this this one.It has very minimal flex when resting your hand on it, The slight flex it dose have is from the rubber coroners that are meant to hold it in place and they do a great job. This mouse pad dose not slide anywhere on my desk. I have to forcefully push it with both hands to move it.Now the best part, this thing is stupidly easy to clean, unlike a normal mousepad.If your unsure about this mouse pad don't be, just buy it. You won't regret it.The only con I can think of and it's not really a con is that there wasn't a larger size to buy. This one is Perfect and larger enough. I've yet to find myslef getting to the edge but I'm sure someone will.I'm also really happy with the green on black style as it matches everything else I have and the logo is perfectly done, it's there but it's not distracting or flashy. Just subtle enough to catch your eye. I'll be picking up another for my laptop.

I have been looking for a moderately sized rigid mousepad for some time to replace my 8 year old Alienware mousepad that came with my old Aurora m9700 that served me well for all these years. Many of the new mouse mats are now all decked out with RGB which I think is a bit overkill. Others seems to be too large and not very rigid.This mouse mat is the perfect size for my computer desk and feels quite premium . I like the Aluminium plating which will last a long time. The graphics are quite subtle with just a green line at the bottom with the Black Hawks branding. I'd prefer a different line color such as Red but it's fine.The price is also quite attractive. You can easily spend twice as much on a 'gaming' mouse pad probably because it's made by a more mainstream gaming company but in the end I doubt they will work any better. My G502 tracks great on this mouse mat and it has more than enough room for gaming mouse movements.Not much else to say about it, but for the price it's probably the best mouse mat you can buy.

Let's face it...most of us don't think much about our mouse pad. I would be considered an avid PC gamer and even I was using a cloth/rubber mouse pad that I think I got for nothing a bunch of years ago. It just seemed to work so I never gave it any thought. Recently I noticed how dirty the pad was getting so I decided to get another one. I was planning on buying the same kind and as cheaply as possible. As I was looking at all my options I came across this mouse pad. At first the thought of a hard surface mouse pad seemed foreign to me but the reviews were largely positive....so I thought what the hell...let's give it a try. Well...I've now had it 4 days and I absolutely cannot even remember what life was like pre hard surface mouse pad. This thing is incredible. My EVGA TORQ 10 mouse literally glides over the surface. The pad is 2 sided....one of which is a bit rougher than the other. I personally like the rougher of the 2 sides. The make and quality of the pad is very good and it looks great on my desk. The only reason I can think of that might be a deterrent to buying one is that it is bigger than the usual rubber pad...so make sure you have the room for it. Other than that if you are contemplating getting one of these then stop wasting your valuable gaming time and just get one....I'd be shocked if you didn't love it.
