Air Purifier with HEPA & Carbon Filters & UV light, Desktop USB Air Cleaner, Air Ionizer Freshener with Air Quality Detection

So disappointed because it's too noisy and no sleep mode. And I dont think this item works properly because the color doesn't change at all. And last there's no instruction how to change the filter.

At the time of writing this, there was just one review and that was 5 stars. That, along with the price, was what probably attracted me to this product.When it arrived, it was a nice compact package and perfect for the desktop. I read the manual and then went to operate it. As per the description, I was expecting ionized air with a typical smell, but this was not present and no mention was made of it in the manual.The manual mentioned two speeds but I could not get this to function. The seller later confirmed the manual was wrong and needed updating.When operating, the noise level was noticeable especially when on the desktop in a quiet office. Whether you could sleep next to this is probably down to personal preference, but it is not silent.It claimed to have a HEPA filter and carbon filter. Both of these have finite lives, but I could not see where you would change these filters.The major issues I have with this though are threefold:1) After being on for 6 hours in an office, the air did not feel or smell fresher and the office space is a small office of maybe just 5 cubic metres. My coffee smell lingered – opening the window for 2 minutes was much more effective.2) A purple glow could be seen from the top – this is coming from the UVC light source which deactivates viruses and bacteria. However, UVC is a wavelength of light which is hazardous to health especially skin and eyes. You can research this online. All other professional systems with UVC have the light source completely shielded to ensure user safety. Once I realised the glow was not coming from the air sensor feedback LEDs, I immediately turned the unit off. The manual does not state how much of a “dose” of UVC this delivers but does state 275nm wavelength (UVC).3) Lastly, the model I chose included an air quality monitor which fed back the air quality by either showing a green, blue or red light. My unit simply kept cycling gently between green and blue in a regular flow suggesting the unit was in hysteresis i.e. it was stuck between the two modes and couldn't show the correct level.I paid £19.99 which is very low for the specifications offered. Considering this is made in China and shipped to the UK, and all parties want to make some money making and selling this, the component costs of this product are likely very low.

Useless, and may be potentially harmful as UV light may come out. No sleep mode, air quality detection doesn’t work.

I like it gets rid of cooking and ciggerette smells

I have had this a week and it no longer wants to turn on. It’s very budget and I understand because of the price, but this is poor quality product overall. I don’t feel the quality of air is better at all. Wouldn’t reccommend I’m afraid..
