Swig Insulated Straw Cup - Mint - 9 Oz

I’ve purchased this twice so far. I really like the convenience of the cup coming apart to be able to wash everything thoroughly. It’s easy to put together. I did have to buy another set of straws only because once my little one started to teethe there were little holes in the straw. That is the only time when I had problems with spillage, and like I said that was because of the teething other than that, I haven’t had any problems with spilling. I like the convenience of the lid as well because it’s easy for my toddler to manage on own. Fits perfect in vehicle and car seat cupholders so that’s a plus for me. I believe my toddler has been using these for about a year and a half and they’re still in good condition and doing their job.

Love that these don’t spill and hold more than a bottle. Because the pouch crinkles, my toddler is actually able to get all of whatever is in it out, she usually struggles to get everything out of other straw cups but this ones is light weight, easy to hold and she seems to enjoy it.

We recently went through a purchasing spree of water straw cups for our 1 year old twins. While a couple of cups failed to live up to expectations, this is one of two cups that were up to the challenge (the other is stainless steel). We've liked it, both kiddos can drink out of it well, and we've liked it. We've only used this for water, so we haven't had any issues with mold growth. We also haven't put hot liquids in it. Pros No plastic contact with drinking liquid Can see the liquid inside The silicone sleeve that holds the liquid is weird and fun Leak proof when properly put together (which isn't hard, but just requires a double check after putting lid on) Easy to assemble/disassemble and clean Cons The lack of handles (though both our babies can handle it just fine by grabbing the hard plastic shell at the holes) Part of the straw seal (right where the kiddos drink) came lose and eventually broke off, which made the cup leak. We were able to buy a back of replacement straws for relatively cheap and now it's good If you don't seal the silicone sleeve in properly when screwing on the lid, it leaks tl;dr We have liked it, but if we were going for another water straw cup, we'd go stainless steel. We were initially reticent as we couldn't see inside, but for just a water cup we've accepted that it's good enough.

my baby started using this cup at 6 months, and let me tell you she got it right away, we’ve loved boon products since she was born, I love how it’s so convenient, the lid can be interchangeable with the bottles (the straw it’s too big tho) but I’ve got the other lids too and we have 2 extra sippy cups just in case, of course you gotta be vigilant about the lid, as in other cups, you gotta be careful while closing it since it can leak, but we haven’t had any leaking issues as of now (6 months in) and will be repurchasing again

Leaks. Lid falls apart. Not great. I would only buy this if you want plastic free but your daycare won't allow metal or glass. That's why I have them.

I have been through a lot of different straw cups so far between two kids. This is definitely my favorite yet. I don't like plastic sippy cups because I find plastic hard to clean, but this cup has the lightweight benefits of plastic while only having silicone in contact with the beverage so it's much easier to clean, without the weight of stainless steel or glass. It doesn't leak; it seals well using the silicone cup insert itself that sits over the plastic lip instead of having a separate little o-ring/gasket to keep up with. Both the cup and straw are wide and therefore easier to clean. I love that the cover is attached to the cup and snaps in place. My ten month old loves drinking out of it, and also has no problem carrying it around - he likes to wrap his fingers around the cutout part of the plastic. We also have some silicone cups that are lightweight, but can be squeezed hard enough to leak, and this cup avoids that problem as well with the plastic frame. And the price is great compared to a lot of other cups out there! I only wish it came in more colors.

After trying multiple cups this is the winner! Easy to use and wash, sturdy and best of all my baby can't get the lid off and spill milk everywhere.

This is not a good cup at all. I loved the idea of it but you have to suck extremely hard to get even a little water out. It won’t spoil because water can’t come out at all. Very disappointed
