is the 7th gen really 300 lumens? 3x brighter then the 5th and 6th gen?

I really have no idea. I used them in the puddle lamps and turn signals in my 2005 Expedition mirrors and they were bright even in daylight. The puddle lamps lit up a nice white spot on the ground but I had no way to compare them to previous versions.

Are these bulbs 800 Lumens per pair, or 800 Lumens for each bulb ?

Thanks for your question. It is 800 lumens per bulb, I hope my answer is helpful to you.

Will this work as a license light on a 2008 Chevy Cobalt?
